No sane person would argue that things aren't better than they were pre-BK. The question is whether someone else could do even better.

I mean if the other team has a 15 or better ranking you can pretty much bet your life the critical penalties, turnovers, and missed tackles are coming, it's clockwork,... Yes BK took ND to a place the program hasn't been to since the early 90s but I'm confident it's not going any further....

I have been an avid Kelly supporter for a LONG time. Tonight is the straw that broke the camel's back and I am OFFICIALLY on board. We are a quarter away from being 1-2 and 0-2 against teams that are worth a shit. Blow the whole thing up and start from scratch. What shitty performance and what a waste of a recruiting weekend.

Admittedly, Im a bit of a Brian Kelly apologist (Though thats waning fast), but who would replace him? What great coach wants to come here?? Bobby Petrino?? great coach but the whole banging students thing wouldn't go over well here. Les Miles? He might be looking for a job next year. I'm not saying we HAVE to keep him, but realistically who will come here and dominate?

I think we had this discussion before. Maybe even in the BK revisited thread.

I felt that way before this season. But now it's gotten to the point where he's sat on the problem so long he may need to go too

Serious thought process here. Do you think jack would can him after a let's say 8-4 season? I think going 8-4 puts him on the hot seat ala les miles. Do something in 2017 or your gone. I'm confident BVG will go, probably not mid year but he's gone after the regular season.

I'm done with BK. I appreciate what he did for ND but I didn't like the hire from the get go. Way to smug and dense for my liking.

Herman is the obvious go to but I don't know how realistic that is. Any other viable options?

I completely agree. However, I think this has gotten to the point of Andy Reid in Philly. Where things have gotten so stale that major subordinate moves need to be made. However, both coaches are too stubborn and loyal so won't make the moves. Hopefully not though. The birds obviously made the wrong choice, maybe Brian Kelly will realize that a lot of his staff has under-performed.
