This is when the real fun begins. The walls have completely closed in on him, and he has nowhere to go.

Expect many article this week about how he lost the team, players coming forward about his arrogance and ineptitude, and him quadrupling down and blaming others.

This will be absolutely glorious to watch.

Our old coach realizing that it LOOKS like it might be easier to nab a title at LSU, but it's at least as easy get clobbered on a regular basis, if your guys "lack attention to details."

On a serious note: I wonder if Kelly's "detailed" constructions (which are great only if everything works like a clock) just don't fit the culture of SEC football? In those atmospheres it seems to me that breakdowns are magnified and those opposing athletes ram them up your butt immediately when you screw up. He might just be too complicated or most teams other than ... well, almost anyone.

I think that the only way that he saves his job is if he holds onto Bryce Underwood…

What do you expect when you take Notre Dame’s all time winningest coach and plop him into the SEC? We should have known better …. 😏

I’m kidding, I’m kidding , of course!

Seriously, yesterday was bad, but not a shock. We’re not a good team. We’re very, very average all around. Napier and Florida are fighting for bowl eligibility. We controlled the game in terms of TOP, first downs, third down conversions…we just can’t execute. Nussmeier has also really struggled the second half of the season.

The most disappointing thing is I’m gathering that Kelly is losing/has lost a portion of the locker room. It wouldn’t surprise me if they mail it in for the remaining games (Vanderbilt and Oklahoma).

Big props to Florida and Napier, though. They needed the win. They showed up after getting blasted by Texas and with a ton of starters out and played hard and with emotion. They deserve the win.
