Yes, DP asked him flat out about schools that use them vs. schools that dont... BK said he understands that the 40 something guy doesn't like them, but the recruits and young kids in general LOVE them... doing them once a year for the Shamrock game is a great compromise...

you have to be part of the group...that means different attractive uniforms...part of recruiting...we understand it's appealing to 18 year olds...we do it 1x a year

Honestly, this year's Shamrock Series uniforms were AWESOME. I wouldn't mind ND wearing white on white for all their away games. I'm not a huge fan of our regular away pants. I also wouldn't mind mixing it up for more than just the SS games.

I hear you. But, I hate ESPN as an institution. Some of their people I like more than Patrick. Scott Van Pelt is one. OK, maybe there is only one.

I don't think there's anyone on ESPN I care for anymore. Expect for games, I pretty much quit watching ESPN about 5-6 years ago and haven't missed them at all. I like DP's radio show. I thought he was okay with BK. I also liked how BK said while ND is a big rivalry each week for the opponent, this was rivalry week for ND.

No way. They look great on away uniforms. Less so on home uniforms.

One of the best uniform games in he country, Notre Dame at Southern Cal:

haha I think Southern Cal has arguably the best uniform in sports, so I guess so. I think they're basically perfect, home and away both.

and this is the best uniform game in all of sports:

Notre Dame at Michigan is another beautiful matchup. Ohio State at Michigan is crazy good too. Big fan of Ohio State at Michigan State when Michigan State wears their good green uniforms.

Sorry but if ND is nothing special, and USC is ugly, what's your idea of great uniforms?

SC's pants are terrible... and their homes are honestly one of the worst out there imo... and ND's homes are epic, aways are just average unis imo...

in college football... for me... Penn St./ ND game in South Bend would be way, way up there... UNC (before this season) and Clemson in Chap Hill is way up there... FSU homes are great...

those are some that come to mind.

No. I LOVE ND’s unis… some of the best in sports… but to me, NDs home (and even alts) are higher up the list than the white on gold aways… which to me, are just average, everyday unis... nothing wrong, nothing special. SC's pants... tons wrong... and no matter how they try, that color will never match that Crimson of theirs... honestly, unless you're the Green Bay Packers, or you are matching it with black... stay away from yellow

UNC home prior to this season were just amazing... Always liked SMU's... Texas has some classic unis... Honestly, I've always like Colorado's homes too... Great looking uni

On the puke side of the scale we have USC, Tenneesee, SDSU, some variations of Miami are far from good...
