I really don't. It's bicycle racing. I've never watched more than a few minutes of a bicycle race. Does it make me a bad person? I think it's amazing that someone could sit on that little fu#king seat for that long. I admire his charitable work and it's sad that some people may lose help with all of the recent happenings. To be honest, I didn't get all worked up about the baseball steroid stuff either. I thought everyone knew what they were doing. It seemed obvious to me. I get more upset about stuff like Sammy Sosa's corked bat.

How do you feel about it?

I'm the exact opposite. Cheating in dumb ways that you can get caught, like throwing spit balls or corking a bat or deflating balls, is a ridiculous part of the game. Forcing a lot of great athletes to have to put their bodies in long-term danger to keep up with you is a lot different.

It sounds like Lance did a lot of good for a lot of people, and also made a boat load of money, all under false pretenses. There is not much to say about that kind of thing, IMHO. It is what it is.

Here's my take on it. He has made a FORTUNE being the cover boy to beating cancer. Which is awesome... I have several family members who have suffered from cancer and he had certainly served as inspiration. However, he ran ad after ad, campaign after campaign, stating that he did not use drugs, that he did it the clean way. It just rubs me in the worst way because its almost like he cheated not just in cycling but in peoples lives. He served as a false representation of hope. Everything he stood for was created by a lie. And that pisses me off. What kind of message is he sending? If somethings got you down do you fight through the pain or do you bail out and cheat. Pathetic. Makes me want to throw up.

Still not pissed that he used steriods and still think its sad that one the largest cancer organizations in the world is getting torn apart because of one man's actions.

I think people need to get their priorites in order. Jeopordizing years of work and charity just because you feel cheated as a sports fan is ridiculous. How many people could have been helped by Livestrong if people would have just left it alone?

Sad day for cancer, not for bike racing fans (shoot, most the people pissed aren't even real bike racing fans. But I digress).

Really I couldn't care less if he did. The dishonesty is a bit shity, but hey everyone doped in biking. On the other hand, he was the best at doping considering he never tested positive and it took so many years and a lot of cash to investigate by multiple organizations to find people to testify. He still hasn't tested positive. Perhaps since he doesn't have his 7 titles for biking anymore, he can have some sort of award for being the best doper.

That's not all he did. Don't get me wrong, he helped a lot of people. But he also made himself rich in the process and ruined people's lives when they called him out for lying.

LA held himself up as a role model to millions of people (I'm not one of them, see Kenny Powers above). He was one of the most famous people in the world for a decade or so, and he basked in the false glory that were his accomplishments. He became fabulously wealthy because he lied to the entire world. That makes him a very bad guy in my book.
