Not sure what actually happened, but the defense has been absolutely fantastic since the start of the 2nd half vs Purdue. Credit the staff for making the necessary adjustments

If Justin Elliott’s crew wasn’t point shaving today, they should be tested for every mental handicap known to man, one of the worst officiated games on both sides I have ever seen

I’m wondering what the all time record is for total amount of flags thrown in a single ND game is and how close this was to it.

Carr had probably 3 bad throws, but I was still really encouraged by his game because I think he makes those moving forward and it is great to see he actually has a good running game. To me it is another step forward for him.

I have to give credit to whatever has happened to improve the defense. No they aren’t elite, but the improvement from absolutely dreadful has been impressive. They attack and are violent. 20 points given up in two weeks is impressive against anyone.

I cannot give specifics, but I remember the Michigan games during the Weis era being pretty harsh.

That and the 91 Orange Bowl, but that was just one bad call.

Sneed, even with his flaws, finds his way to negative plays. Ausberry does not.

The KVA - Sneed duo just seemed far more impactful than Bowen - Ausberry.

This game should've ended up 42-7. Probably sloppiest game offensively since week 1.

With that said was good to see the defense improve. Going to need to put it all together the next few weeks

Incredible how badly officiated this game was.

Defense seemed to get fired up late. Whatever. It's a dub and ultimately a a comfortable margin.

Think we should all be ecstatic with that defensive performance. We finally created HAVOC, and made Madsen (who’s generally a solid QB) super uncomfortable.

Offense also was very good IMO, just obviously left 14 on the board. CJ missed a few that he hasn’t all year and still was very good. Lot to be excited about.
