Hey everyone,
I was just accepted to ND and am proud to say that I will join the domer family next year. I am going out the weekend of the Blue Gold game and I was wondering what I should while I am there. Are there any cool events, things to do, etc? Thanks, and go Irish!

Congratulations jimmymac, Class of '15!

Read the thread, http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/not...meday-notre-dame-visitors-first-timers-8.html

Also send a PM to Jason Pham, this site's administrator. He's a grad student. He might be available or help you connect with some younger students. There are several of them on this board.

Congrats, jimmy mac!!! There will be activities all weekend. I am going to do you one better. There is a chance that I will have an extra ticket to the VIP brunch at the Joyce Center on Saturday morning. The problem is that I won't know if I have an extra until right before. e mail me if you want, and I will give you the ticket if it is available. irishrover1843@gmail.com

Congratulations! Good luck. Keep your nose clean and to the grindstone – for the most part, don't forget to have some fun now and then.

My twin sister wound up at Syracuse. Not a big deal when we were in college '70 to '74, but I've been taking far too much grief from her, her husband and their son, all 'Cuse grads.

Kick a few asses on the football, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, etc. teams so I can regain gloating rights.

Completely understand- My literally whole family has gone to BC, so it was a pretty tragic moment in my household when I chose ND over BC. When you can go to ND, why settle for the Backup College  .

And thanks to everyone again! Go Irish!

Yeah bro! great decision and I am sooo jealous!

Now....you better be our Insider on all ND news...get close to the players, get close to the Coaches...put up cameras where/on whom needed....pay off guards, security...etc

and bring all finds back to Irish Envy okay? :)

Best of luck soldier!

You may have heard this more times than can stand, but I couldn't resist.

YouTube - Bambi 2 - Jimmy Mack

I found a version you might want to become familiar with if you plan on sticking around the IE board. It features one of our more "interesting" and sexy posters.

good luck man, and congratulations. i'll be applying there in a year, so fingers crossed

Hit the books, pick your courses appropriately, do what you can extra curricular, write one impressive-as-hell essay, cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Best of luck, young man.

Congrats Jimmy! I can guarantee you that living at Notre Dame is nothing short of everything you expect and hope for! (so long as you don't get put in Zahm) I jest... but seriously. If you get on campus next year and want to hang out with the coolest sophomores I know and talk some football or whatever, head on over to Keenan (the best of the Notre Dame residence halls) and we can play some FIFA and speculate about how many people Manti will kill next year! You've made the best decision of your life with Notre Dame, and you won't be disappointed to find that it is not just the best place to watch a football game, but it's the best place to live as well.

Congratulations once again and if you have any questions about college life or working on campus or how many warm clothes you need for the winter (a lot) or really anything at all, email me at thines@nd.edu

Welcome to the family!

Dude, congratz. I read in the observer yesterday that the incoming class is the best/smartest one ever (again). That's legit. You're lucky too, cuz u get to see the Glorious return of football. Me... (class of '11) I saw the worst segment in ND history. I'll leave as part of the losingest class in school history. At least I witnessed the start of something special. Upset win against Utah on senior night. Best of luck to you.
