Again unless he told the kids he's coming back.
regardless the man should not be on vacation right now....

I'm down with that. It's okay guys...![]()
O'Leary lied on his resume for every job.
Notre Dame is one of the best jobs in the country. Now that people have seen that you can really win and get recruits in there, and that the facility and strength weaknesses are no more...there will be a line from South Bend to ****ing Mississippi full of coaches who want the job.
David Pollack @davidpollack47
I hope Brian Kelly is just seeking a raise, CFB is better when ND is relevant. He has left his last 2 jobs quickly.

I'm down with that.
Gerry Faust was hired from a high school.
I'll ask again, are you on drugs right now?
Notre Dame Jokes @notredamejokes
Something tells me Brian Kelly wants to go to the NFL just to draft Tommy Rees and start him.

Don't think he is leaving but this could hurt us in recruiting down the line. other coaches will hang this over our head
Oh I don't like him. But I would take him as my teams head coach. And in less than a month people will say how much they hate Urban
Keith Arnold @KeithArnoldNBC
Spoke with one NFL source that thinks this is a standard negotiating tactic. Heard that ND and Kelly's agent were already talking new deal.
Like Houston Nutt??
Now I ask you are you on drugs because that is just totally false.
95% of kids that want to come here cannot bc of the academics and nearly the same number of coaches are the same way towards coaching in ND.
The ONLY coaches that will be knocking down ND's doors are unproven assistants, not proven head coaches.
It is a nice theory but not even close to the truth. ND struck gold with the Kelly hiring and the Holtz hiring...25 years apart.
I don't want to wait another 25 years, but that is the reality. NOBODY was lining up for this job, nobody that ND wanted. And Stoops is NOT there for the taking either. Because his system would not work at ND either.
ND loses Kelly, and it is the death knell of indepdence, to be honest. Just another five years with Kelly would have staved it off, but without him at the helm, we will be rudderless and have to cave in much sooner than any fan, alum or subway alum, would like to admit.
Why not??? The man just delivered one of the best Notre Dame football seasons in the last 2 decades! I hope he is enjoying his time off and will be looking forward to all of this blowing over by the time he even gets a chance to tell his side of the story.
Michael Rosenberg @Rosenberg_Mike
I'd be surprised if Brian Kelly turns down an NFL job. He has always looked to move up a level, everywhere he's been.

As a Giants fan and a Notre Dame fan, I will hate BK forever if this is true.
Support from the SEC.
