and wooden teeth!

I really meant no disrespect...politics is just a touchy subject and lots of people are obviously passionate about it. But that is what makes this country such a great place. :) But I still say bald is beautiful!

haha I know, I was just having fun because as I said earlier I don't get into political arguments too often. But every once in awhile I like to throw things in the mix.

... "he" has not declared bankruptcy four times, rather businesses that his name is on have.

In light of the Supremos dictum that corporations are "persons" with regard to "money as free speech," is there a downstream logic that might apply to persons who are "corporations" with regard to statutory culpability for individuals?

The Donald, and far, far too many others, manipulate and hide behind the nuances of the jiggered Law while they vilify and condemn actual individuals and countries who do the same.

Out of one side of his mouth we hear "I'm simply making use of the (bastardized) laws to make a ****-load of money while avoiding paying my bills." From the other we hear "but the unwashed masses don't qualify for such consideration since they aren't me."

He may be a dandy to some, but his views and attitudes won't hack it in the global sphere.

For my 2 cents, I don't think either Obama or Trump are sensible presidential material. BUT, it would be entertaining as hell to see those two ego-maniacs going at each other if Trump actually ran. But, it would end soon enough, because (I agree with DShans here, I think) Trump wouldn't have the cred to even win the nomination.

He is successful, BUT....I have a hard time trusting a man who can't embrace his baldness. Bald guys are SEXY. Trump is not, but I don't know where I'm going with this...must be the Beam talking. ;)

HEY! I'm bald. LOL I'm too sexy for my haircut too sexy for my haircut.........

I agree with this... and i'd love to see a debate between the two bascially because it'd be entertaining as hell...

Everytime I read anything negative about Obama, I hear in my head blah blah blah blah fox news fox new fox news, sheeple sheeple sheeple, rush limbaugh fat bastard fat bastard....I can't take it. I like Obama. And all people are saying when they demand pictures of OBL is that they don't trust our Navy Seals. Obama wasn't there. Navy Seals were. Who's got big balls? If you're balls are the biggest go ahead and tell Seal team 6 they are liars. We'll let ya.

I am as GOP as they come but in this case you have to give credit where credit is due

Classified means classified until it's declassified. No grey area here. Most sailors with clearances (myself included) take this very seriously.

Glad to open the thread and find out he's probably still dead.

Sad that these guys are seeking glory and fame. It goes way against what they're suppose to do.

It's also really stupid to announce to the world that you're that guy. I'd be like "it wasn't me, Irishpat did it"

My brother was a SEAL and got out in the late 80's. I should get his thoughts.

I know, and have worked in the past, with several SEALS. I would imagine I know what his thoughts are on this one.

Serious question: How many Seals are there? How many posters on this board can possibly be brothers, friends and acquaintances with them? I thought they were like, crazy rare. Or am I mistaken?

As a Recruiter at one time in my military career, everyone is a SEAL, Green Beret, or Killer Marine (doesn't matter if he/she was a Clerk in the USMC). No italics.

On the other issue-Really, this guy just trying to get his ducks in a row for retirement. Not like his pension, if he stayed in that long, is going to provide him anything. Everyone else writes a tell-all. Why shouldn't he get the same opportunity?

Granted, he should have put his initial book up for that review thing. That's a no-brainer.

Not as rare as one may think. At one point recently I read that there was roughly 2500 or so active duty SEALS. Also, if one is in another branch and part of a specialized force, then they have probably worked with SEALS or at least come across them in joint operations, etc.

Can't tell where you're going here Prat, but I'll assume you just don't know and that you're not flexing computer muscle (Sh!t, you're a computer expert<----------Joke).

For clarity, I'll qualify the statement I made previously. Most who make the claim of being an "Operator" (SEAL, GB, whatever) have never been, and have not done anything remotely close to that line of work. Ask a military recruiter. I can't recall the number of people who make the claim. Obvious lie.

picture=joke

And Bingo, you do get it-So, you're a PJ then. I think....

The one thing I remember when I was in Basic, is that everyone was either a high school All-American football player or a golden glove boxer.

Sure, but what's sadder is that a guy who can dunk a basketball or catch a football get hero status, when guys like this are, you know, actual heros. Not a shot at you by any means, just joining the conversation.

There are a lot of things that are sad, but none of them justifies theses soldiers actions.

How ironic, a recruiter talking about prevarication.

By the way a Clerk, or a Cook, or a Computer Specialist, in The Corps IS a rifleman. Not everyone is a Killer but they are all qualified to do so.
