I'm hopeful he's Irish.

But I'm a skeptic.

So let's poll this up.

Votes are private.

I'm very confident he flips the ND cap on.. We fit the mold of his desires in academics, atmosphere and playing time. Plus, his visit went as well as we could hope.

Could everything change with Bama fresh in his mind? Absolutely.

But given the time to sit back and evaluate the pros and cons, with his parents, ND becomes the clear answer.

I agree completely. Could see Bama as biggest threat.

UCLA. Easy way to get out of the USC mess, good football, still in the town he envisioned himself going to college in.

Hope I'm wrong!

I don't see early playing time for him at Bama.

I agree, Bama is loaded. He could be starting here by mid season and that's saying something with guys like Day, Jones, and Okwara out there. EV is crucial to our DL depth. Add EV to what we have and boom, elite top 3 unit in the nation!

Bama scares me. I think we're ahead of USC and UCLA. Just a hunch.

Right now this feels like a coin flip between us and UCLA.
But ask again tomorrow...

Voted UCLA. I said this on his thread earlier - he is really feeling UCLA, he loved it there and bonded with the players, and he talks to the coaches all the time, and anytime a recruit is the one initiating the contact, you know he is interested big-time.

I keep saying this as well...I put Bama a distant 4th at this time. Great program, but he is not a 'Bama' type kid. I know it doesn't make sense but everything I have read on the kid screams he is staying in CA unless it's ND.

Speaking of ND, I put us right there with UCLA. USC is running 3rd IMO, despite what their fans will tell you. Their one trump card is Ed O, but even that seems to have worn off. ND put their best foot forward and gave EV a TON to think about. Because he won't be doing interviews, just gotta follow his Twitter acct and hope for the best come the 6th...

ND - Because......
Projecting he loves the guys here as well as the family feel,,,,,, coupled with two things. He's the crown jewel of the D-line, and he will be 2 deep immediately and logging 1B minutes at the least by midseason.

Hate to say it, but I think UCLA. Hope I'm wrong, but they have some great recruiting momentum right now.

I don't always make predictions, but when I do, I predict Irish. Eddie Vander-does go Irish.

Bama. The Lure of Saban is too much to resist. I hope I am wrong, of course, because ND would be better for him. If not ND, I hope it is the Uclan.

My nonexistent sources from planet PX9 are saying Houston or Texas State (per my reading in the Glupta)

Wish I could say he is all ND but I just don't have a good feeling on this one. But I don't want him at either USC or Bama so I hope if he is not Irish he ends up at UCLA.

Inside sources tell me Deadspin is about to publish an article alleging Eddie Vanderdoes never actually existed. Recruiters had been speaking with a female imposter.

Hearing good things, but this situation freakishly reminds me of Arik Armstead. Not that the situations have anything common, but just getting a keep my hopes down stop dreaming kind of vibe.
