I see Grandpa Joe thinks it's a bad tactic, but following elected officials into the bathroom with a camera is apparently how the process works?

I'm sorry but what?

It depends on how well it serves your interests. You can do everything but murder Scalise and Paul and it's just politics. It gets a little more attention when its a dem, but it depends on why.

Notice she doesn't get the maverick hero treatment McCain got. She's putting country over party and getting crapped on by the libs for it.

LOL, yes. Any Republican that has an independent thought is a maverick according to the MSM. A Democrat with an independent thought is treated as a traitor.

Damage control, Aisle 1!

White House press secretary Jen Psaki attempted to clarify at a later press briefing that Biden was agreeing with Sinema that free speech is fundamental to democracy but also that the confrontation was "inappropriate and unacceptable."

"The president believes that -- maybe he shorthanded it, but he wanted to make that clear this morning," Psaki said.

Anyone else see Merrick Garland sicking the FBI on people protesting school board meetings?

The Sinema stalking is funny to me - such low brow stalking compared to what Rand Paul (amongst other conservatives) as endured. Trump would have had ICE on those DACA stalkers in by the end of her flush. Biden "its part of the process".

A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest, doo do to duh......

https://thehill.com/regulation/cour...trump-meadows-for-attempting-to-weaponize-DOJ

And, once more, why was Jeff Sessions fired?

And who was the attorney general after sessions?

And then, of course:

Former President Trump on Sunday lambasted his former Attorney General William Barr after Barr described Trump's repeated unsubstantiated claims about the 2020 election as "bullshit" in a forthcoming book.

"Bill Barr was a disappointment in every sense of the word," Trump said in a statement issued late Sunday. "Besides which, Barr, who was Attorney General (lawyer) shouldn't be speaking about the President."

"Instead of doing his job, he did the opposite and told people within the Justice Department not to investigate the election," Trump continued. "Just like he did with the Mueller report and the cover up of Crooked Hillary and RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA, they don’t want to investigate the real facts. Bill Barr’s weakness helped facilitate the cover up of the Crime of the Century, the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election!"

The statement from Trump is the latest episode in the months-long falling out between the former president and Barr, who spent nearly two years as attorney general under Trump.

In a newly published excerpt from ABC News correspondent Jonathan Karl's upcoming book, "Betrayal," Barr described the rapidly deteriorating relationship he had with Trump as the then-president became more entrenched in his belief that the 2020 election was fraudulent.

From the hill.

Forgive me, who drew First blood?

Joe is blaming the Repubs for his inability to get the debt ceiling raised, but Dems don't need the Repubs to do it as they could use the reconciliation process. Biden's presidency has went south much faster than I thought it would. Eight months is barely enough time to get your feet wet.

It's true that Dems can save us from true demise and all of their doom and gloom predictions using the same process they once used but that would require way too much work. Easier to just blame the GOP.

Tough sledding for Joe. So many thought DJT wasn't competent to lead. He may not have been ideal, but...........

Biden received negative scores in the double digits on all but one key issue when Americans were asked about his handling of ...
  • the response to the coronavirus: 48 percent approve, while 50 percent disapprove;
  • the economy: 39 percent approve, while 55 percent disapprove;
  • his job as Commander in Chief of the U.S. military: 37 percent approve, while 58 percent disapprove;
  • taxes: 37 percent approve, while 54 percent disapprove;
  • foreign policy: 34 percent approve, while 58 percent disapprove;
  • immigration issues: 25 percent approve, while 67 percent disapprove;
  • the situation at the Mexican border: 23 percent approve, while 67 percent disapprove.
When it comes to Biden's personal traits, Americans were asked whether or not Biden ...
  • cares about average Americans: 49 percent say yes, while 48 percent say no, compared to 58 - 37 percent yes in April;
  • is honest: 44 percent say yes, while 50 percent say no, compared to 51 - 42 percent yes in April;
  • has good leadership skills: 41 percent say yes, while 56 percent say no, compared to 52 - 44 percent yes in April.
More than half of Americans say 55 - 42 percent that the Biden administration is not competent in running the government.

I think Mitch just called checkmate.

NBCNEWS.com

WASHINGTON —Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says he will not block a debt limit extension into December, making an offer to temporarily end a partisan standoff just 12 days before the government's deadline to avert default.

McConnell announced Wednesday that Republicans will not filibuster an extension of the debt limit “into December” to give Democrats more time to enact a long-term solution on their own. The statement from McConnell would appear to offer a short-term fix as the nation faces an October 18 deadline to lift the limit.

Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., said it’s not clear if Democrats will accept McConnell’s offer, as they have yet to digest and discuss it.

The Senate is scheduled to vote on a procedural motion Wednesday that would suspend the borrowing limit into next year. The motion needs 60 votes to avert what the Treasury Department warns would be an economic calamity if the country blows past the deadline.

"This will moot Democrats’ excuses about the time crunch they created and give the unified Democratic government more than enough time to pass standalone debt limit legislation through reconciliation," said McConnell in a statement.

Because no doubt it has been an effective tactic. They must stop it at all cost.

The underlying issue is, the leftists/marxists are saying they know what is best for your children; more so than their own parents do.

Violence from Antifa?

Really?

Please remove "Polish" from your screen name. You insult my forefathers, who regarded gullible suckers as
Dupa Jaszes......

You are a walking argument for mandatory military service. 8 weeks of basic and 8 of AIT would do you, and the poor wretched souls who have to listen to you a world of good.

And we wonder why Clubfoot Joey Goebbels was able to fool and hypnotize all those people......

Looks like the Dems are going to accept McConnel's temporary proposal, but they're still crying foul and don't want to use the reconciliation process. You know why? I read a little about this Vote-A-Rama thing and apparently when you use the reconciliation process, you don't just push a button to vote yes/no. You have to verbally declare your vote and the amount of money you are approving so it's part of the record. Not one can claim to say they supported the measure, but didn't agree to that large of an amount. Basically the Dems don't want to get caught voting for a package that's going to raise taxes and cost them their jobs.

I almost feel sorry for Joe, but then he told us how he was going to fix the immigration problem and now this. Apparently there's some fighting within his ranks.

Oct. 7, 2021, 4:30 AM EDT
By Julia Ainsley
WASHINGTON — The U.S. knew in July that thousands of Haitians were heading to the U.S. border, but a failure to share intelligence and an internal debate over whether to increase deportations left immigration officials ill-equipped to handle the 28,000 who converged on a Texas bridge last month, three U.S. officials said.

The officials said the Department of Homeland Security has acknowledged the failures internally and has made them part of its discussions to be better prepared for any future surge.

Two of the officials said that the debate over starting deportations before the migrant surge in Del Rio, Texas, was a political battle between progressives and others at DHS and that the progressives won, delaying deportation flights.

Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, and DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis all had information as far back as July that indicated that large groups of Haitians were making their way north from South and Central America to the U.S. border, the three officials said. But the intelligence was not shared widely enough within DHS and across agencies to indicate the size or speed of the group of migrants or that they would all arrive in one location.

In an interview Sept. 20 in Del Rio, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, "I don't think we expected the rapidity of the increase that occurred."

Throughout the summer, two of the officials said, there were also disagreements within the Biden administration over whether it should increase deportations of Haitians already in the U.S. illegally.

The two officials said some argued that deportations — even of small numbers — would deter more people from coming, particularly Haitians living in South America. Others maintained that it would be inhumane to send Haitians back to a country in turmoil after the assassination of its president and, on Aug. 14, a 7.2-magnitude earthquake.

Ultimately, the Biden administration opted not to ramp up deportations, and it then halted all deportation flights to the impoverished island country shortly after the earthquake. By mid-September, seeing the large numbers massing in Del Rio, ICE restarted the flights, and it has now deported more than 7,200 migrants to Haiti.

The disagreement over whether to ramp up deportations reveals internal divides within the administration over how harsh border policies should be. Biden, who ran in opposition to former President Donald Trump's immigration agenda, promised a "fair, safe and orderly" immigration system. During his administration, border crossings have surged, passing records not recorded in two decades.

The three officials said DHS is conducting an internal review of the factors that led to the rapid increase in the number of Haitian migrants in Del Rio. One said the review will allow the government to "allocate appropriate resources" to prepare for future surges. More than 20,000 Haitians are already in northern Colombia and thousands more are in Panama who may soon decide to move toward the U.S.

DHS spokeswoman Marsha Espinosa said in a statement that the department's "humanitarian and operational response" to the situation in Del Rio "was swift, immediately deploying personnel, basic services, food and drinking water, clothing, transportation, and medical resources."

"In coordination with partners across the federal government, the Department assesses the operational need for removal and expulsion flights daily," Espinosa said. "We are undertaking the monumental task to rebuild our previously decimated immigration system. Doing so requires that we address extremely complicated policy and operational issues. We not only respect differences of opinion; we encourage them as a hallmark of good ideas and good government."

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.
