Was he pushing for this when he was a Senator or VP? I don't have an issue looking at reform, but this doesn't come across as much more than politically motivated. Ten years seems to be a reasonable time to sit on the bench. A code of ethics is long overdue. It would have to contain criminal charges. Otherwise the "influence" would be deferred until their time on the court is over.

Biden's foreign policy has been absolutely fucking laughable for not only his presidency, but his entire career. Relief in sanctions on Iran only for them to coordinate the worst terrorist incident since 9/11 and inch closer towards nuclear weapons. Sanctions relief for Maduro's regime only for them to fake an election. Maybe the only positive thing he's done on foreign policy is help get Japan and South Korea towards a security cooperation agreement but that's about it. If Kamala wins, China is taking Taiwan.

Does wandering around the G7 summit count as office hours? Trump dominated events like that and interacted with purpose contrasted against Biden looking like he was trying to avoid the nurse that needed to take him back to his room. Zero engagement with leaders of any substance or purpose. Rather they looked at Biden like Aunt Bethany in Christmas Vacation - "did I break wind? Is Rusty still in the Navy?"

There is not a rational human on Earth that thinks Biden puts more hours into the work of being POTUS than Trump did. Sleeping in the Oval Office to pad a BS statistic maybe. Trump is and was constantly on the go and interacting with all kinds of people unscripted.

To be fair, as someone who wants government to do less - maybe Biden isn't so bad.
