I was looking through Netflix last night and saw so many shows, films and docs that sounded interesting that i really became overwhelmed by it all. How you all keep up is beyond me.

We don't. There is always stuff we miss. With all the other shows we watch, we'll routinely get behind on our Netflix viewing and usually catch up during the holidays and/or after football season.

I know it's been brought up somewhere before but I'll also confirm that Narcos is bad ass. We finished the first season last week and started on season two last night. I highly recommend and thanks to the others who did as well.

Lol so far nothing but issues with Disney +

Yeah it kept popping up with errors of connecting. Guess they even issued a statement that the demand was even higher than their high expectations. Nonetheless, I was surprised of all companies, Disney, would let this happen. Especially with all the hype building up to it.

Despite the issues we were still able to work around them to get to the movies and create profiles similar to Netflix. I downloaded ENDGAME and started watching it on my phone during my lunch.

There are two right? Narcos and Narcos Mexico...

Preference one or the other?

Yes, there are two. I've not seen any Narcos Mexico yet, but we'll probably check it out when finished with Narcos.

I think I recall someone posting that Narcos Mexico was really good too but started off a little slower.

In all the annuals of 'overratedness' within greater American Society... few things have a higher rating of 'grossly overrated' as The Sandlot... average at best film that middle aged white dude thinks is the fucking Godfather.

Don't bother changing my mind, I am right already confirmed.

I don't think it's the Godfather lol, but I DO think it perfectly illustrates the best aspects of what childhood should be.

I'm not even a huge baseball guy at this point, but I do enjoy the lessons that my son can learn from Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez and Scotty Smalls.

Also, it's definitely anti-PC by today's standards, and that's cool, too.

That was my general feeling and never got through it. I'll probably try and go back and watch it again but considering I didn't finish it, I thought Narcos was much better.

Just a reminder, if you've passed on Peaky Blinders because it's not your typical show, it's freaking amazing.

I think they must have just added a bunch of stuff recently to try and combat the release of Disney+. There are a ton of really good movies on there all of a sudden like all of the Indiana Jones films.

Treblinka. John Demjanjuk.
I was 10-11 years old when this case went on and I don't remember one thing about It.
Ivan The Terrible I remember.
It's a good thing we have social media as a reminder of this terrible set of events that will never be repeated.

Is the terrible thing you speak of our country giving up a US citizen to a foreign government on what turned out to be flawed and insufficient evidence, obtained from the KGB... who was in a massive disinformation war with the intent of creating unrest between various factions in the US and the west in general?

If you have children who aren't old enough to drive, how do you not do Disney +.

It's going to huge. I agree. I've jumped on the DIS bandwagon since 100-110. It'll be a multi-year ride of goodness.

Because I own a large library of Disney DVDs and Blu Rays already....

You don't know what you don't know. I dont know what your collection is, but I can tell you their library is massive and physically takes up exactly 0 space in my house.

You're also going to miss out on relevant content updates that you just won't be aware of.

Not saying everyone NEEDS it, be damn, it's going to be great.

Getting ready to watch as soon as I finish up Narcos Mexico. Watched Narcos which was very good, then jumped on Narcos Mexico. The first three episodes were a little disappointing, but it ramped up pretty good. Glad I stuck with it.

I understand where your coming and I found myself rooting for him and his family during the documentary(I was born in '88 and had no knowledge of this trial before watching). I really believed he had a case and was being treated unfairly but then I started to think about the pictures they were using to compare facial structures. Why werent they able to find any pictures of John when he was younger? They used a picture of him in his 70s to compare with one while he was around 20. You would think that would be exhibit A for either Prosecution or the Defense depending on his appearance back then. I realize many people lost everything bc of the war but that didnt stop them from starting a new life. You would think moving to America with a solid job and starting a family would advocate taking pictures with your family. My parents both grew up in poor familys of immigrants but they still have dozens of photo albums full of pictures. If he didn't have any then what was he hiding from? If he did, then why wasnt the family throwing them at his accusers. Plus the guy admitted, on the stand, that he had an SS tattoo under his armpit that was removed and he wasn't even asked about it. The prosecution didnt even have any knowledge of the tattoo, he just offered the information up along with other inconsistencies in his story about where he spent his time during the war. In the end I think they got it right, he wasnt Ivan the Terrible, but he did serve as a prison guard.

If you are a hunter, love the outdoors and enjoy cooking wild game... Steve Rinella's "MeatEater" is the best hunting show I have ever watched. Great ambassador to the sport. Smart, humble and a very interesting guy. Some excellent photography and he does not endorse brands/sponsors. It's all about the animal/experience.

Cheers and Go Irish!!

I'm in my 40's and have 1 picture of me between 0-18. Before camera phones became a thing some people just didn't take pictures... Other than High school year book stuff.
