Narcos Season releases this Friday. Still my favorite show on Netflix.

Just finished the Haunting of Hill House...wow, what a show. I've read that it'll make you laugh, cry, and sh*t yourself...not too far from the truth once the whole story is told.

I love Narcos but it's not a show you can just put on in the background or while making dinner(which is what i have to do a lot with my shows), because all the subtitles you'd better park your butt and pay attention.

I'm at home with baby Quinn this month, and just started this. Season 1 episode 4. Very good so far.

Congrats on the clone Koon! Although Clausen Koonja would have been great name too. Sounds like the bad guy in a Die Hard reboot.

I’ve been catching up on Ozark season two. They ensure that nothing EVER good happens to the Byrde family in this show. I keep thinking, “Well Marty was breaking the law from the very beginning so maybe their point is to show that snowballing crime doesn’t pay even if it’s too save your family”. Which, then begs the question “Who’s the good guy in all of this?”

Did I miss your review of Outlaw King? Had to put the brakes on it last night w/o your blessing.

Still haven’t had time to sit and watch it,... seems people are all over the map with it tho.

Ive heard nothing but good about it so far

Yeah I've seen it all over the place,... hoping to watch it during my down time next week. I'm playing the part of the single father right now and it's just been hard to find a block of time for a movie.

Maniac is exceptional. I think that a majority of people who watch it and like it will rewatch it more than once. The writer Patrick Somerville (also did The Leftovers) is a star. Kind of surprised that this show hasn't been talked about more on here.

Outlaw King was good, thought it could have been about a hour longer TBH... some of it felt rushed to me

I thought it was pretty decent. Good for a Netflix movie. But I think it would have been better as a series. Agree it felt rushed.

I'll agree with Outlaw King being rushed. It is worth the watch for sure but if they would have filmed it as a series there would have been the needed time for expansion of characters and story line.

Have any of you watched The Last Kingdom? I thoroughly enjoyed the first two seasons and the 3rd season is releasing on the 19th of this month.

Watching Amazon (HBO's) Sopranos. Does anyone else find It absurdly odd and ironic that Tony, aka James Gandolfini, died of a heart attack while vacationing in Italy? (In real life)

Yup. Was there to receive an award in Sicily. Never made it.
Still one of my favs. Plan to rewatch possibly over the holidays.

It's also another weird prophecy of the twin towers in the rear view mirror on the introduction for the first 2 years.

I also have noticed while rewatching Sopranos this many years later how the HBO narrative was trying to make pills more noticeable and seemingly ready available. From Ritalin to Prozac and Xanax, even the crazy drug Lithium. A great show to fairly give millennials their due. Only took 9/11 and the weird invasion of poppy fields to work our system back into pain and heartache.
I'm not completely sure and don't feel like researching at the moment but It seems back in 1998-1999 the pharmaceutical companies were getting ready for a ramp-up of great proportions.

Finished House of Cards. Liked it, but felt rushed. Didn't have to be a shortened season. Too much happened and was resolved quickly. The depth of the new characters was way to shallow. It could have wrapped up things better, or more complete.

It was what I thought it would be. Less. Spacey is/was an absolute 5* generational talent and he was born to play Francis. How could it have been anything but less?

you misogynist

Honestly, while I missed Spacey (he's one of my favs in acting), it was fine without him IMO. The "less", at least to me was less episodes and less development. Kinnear IMO was a poor choice as well. With losing Spacey, they could have added a more dynamic male villain. Sick or not, Kinnear was a whiny yawn, for someone trying to orchestrate the things he did...

Horrible casting on the main men. Talk Soup Stud and Steve don't cum yet!

Bad Blood Is bad ass!

Watched season 1 last year via Kodi when it first broadcast in Canada. Really enjoyed it. Does Netflix have season 2 yet (it just aired a couple months ago and haven't had a chance to catch it)?

If you get a chance, check out Pine Gap. Pretty decent. It's another show (Australian) I watched earlier this year, and Netflix is now broadcasting. It's about a joint USA/Aussie listening station down under.
