I've been wanting to watch MM for the longest time. I keep putting it off due to it being 7 seasons and almost 100 eps. Way too many TV/series options these days.

The show moves slowly, and it is long. But after dedicating about 2 months of my life to it I'm nothing short of depressed that I can't spend any more time with the characters.

Also, I suppose I wouldn't know given I didn't live through the 60s, but they do a terrific job of depicting the passage of time throughout the entire decade, in terms of fashion, politics, music, general behavior. So much so that I couldn't fully enjoy ford vs ferrari in comparison.

For the past couple years, I keep telling myself I'll watch it during the sports dead period between the end of March Madness and the beginning of FB. Shit just keeps coming up.

Goliath is one of my favs. Really wish they would have kept Longmire going a little longer. Still haven't done the last season of Goliath. Started it, but was interrupted. High quality IMO.

In terms of starting next... If you haven't done Bosch, take a look. If you've never watched Bloodline, it's one of the best NF series ever IMO.

I’ll check them out. Thanks

Narcos is pretty good. S2 started kind of slow IMO, but given S1 I stuck with it and it picked up.

YJ, Watched three episodes of Bosch S1. Pretty decent. Will stay with it.

Is anyone else kind of "over" Netflix at this point? I feel like there's a lot more content that I watch just to kill time than stuff I would really consider "must see."

We should all probably just cancel it and subscribe to the Disney+/ESPN+/Hulu bundle TBH. $12.99 per month, what a value!

Disney+ sucks right now. Hopefully it gets better with more content. And why does this feel like an advertisement?

Do they ask all employees to push the Disney Channel? lol

I agree after mandalorian it has been a pretty crappy service, plus the delays or cancellations of shows they announced not a good look for the service.

It is not funny,... it's pretty fucking hard to watch at times and the core story is messed up. It's a good watch for crime drama but NOT funny, in the slightest... at least not after the first five minutes.

I watched Dont F With Cats. It was alright. I'm not a huge fan of true crime dramas and this reminded me why. Felt like they could've easily told the whole story in an hour and most of it was padding for dramatic effect.

Agreed,... it’s worth a try but yeah. Didn’t need three episodes.

I'm about halfway through E1 and agree, too much "padding" with googling. Since it's short, I'll probably finish watching it, but it's "so so" so far.

Can't believe I never watched it sooner, but just finished mad men. I've only ever felt this upset to finish a show a couple times before, really fantastic show.

Probably the best first episode of a show I've ever seen with the big twist of him going home to his house in the 'burbs.

One of the best ever and the final scene with the Coca Cola ad is the best ending of any series finale ever IMO.

Hell yeah.

It got a little hokey in season 5/6. But it ended super strong. Loved me some Don Draper and even Pete Campbell ends up winning me over.

Cool. Bloodline>Bosch though.
Bosch is still pretty good, especially if you're a fan of Titus Welliver, which I am.

My GF keeps watching some dumb show about two old ladies selling vibrators. Think it's Jane Fonda. Yeah, I don’t recommend that one. She usually turns it on when I’m watching a game on my IPad

Counterpoint: Lilly Tomlin is great in that show. She is SOOO SoCal Bohemian moves to Sedona fruitcakey funny.

And when I'm 80 and my kid ships me off to the resthome... PLEASE let all the other 80 year olds look just like Jane Fonda does at 82.

Is that the one where they find out the husbands are gay and in love with each other?

Janes kept in shape, but she's also had some help form the doc to fight mother nature which is okay IMO.

A Valentines Day gift. Of course, I get it now.

She’s on a 90210 rerun kick too. I can hear it playing from the bedroom right now. Guess the impeachment TV finally wore her out.

Be a good hubbie, and don't forget the batteries!

Sounds like you both need to turn the TVs off and get your groove on.....

Unabomber - In His Own Words | Netflix

It's crazy how Ted had today down to a science. He had his manifesto that led to him getting caught because he thought killing people was a way to get attention. In today's world that he knew was about to happen, he would have been able to just watch CNN, and FOX News, MSNBC....

He was insane and very wrong for his bombs, he was so right on many other levels in his writing that we are affected by in today's world.
The CIA having any involvement in his upbringing Is an insanity in and of itself.
It Is an interesting watch.

Just read in a local magazine that Netflix is about to release a miniseries on Madam C.J. Walker. Story of one of the first black female millionaires who happened to be from Indy. There’s a historic theater downtown named after her. I’m looking forward to learning a little hometown history.

Watched the doc series "Cheer". Competitive cheerleading is a world I know nothing about but it was actually pretty good (feel free to mock me). Of course, I like watching any series featuring highly competitive teams. The Man City and All Blacks ones on Amazon were also good.

I have a 10 year old granddaughter that has been in competitive cheer for about 4 or 5 years. A best friend of one of my sons also has a girl in cheer. It's extremely competitive, cut throat and very costly. They practice more than any other sport and travel constantly. Last week they traveled to Louisville for a competition on Saturday. The coach still held practice on Sunday. Not a big fan of all of the makeup they put on these girls at such an early age.

Started watching Intelligence. Canadian based series on their version of the FBI and organized crime centered mostly around drugs. Not bad.

Anyone watched Hunters on Prime? I liked the historicity combined with some ridiculousness, but overall thought it fell a little flat. Definitely set up for more seasons so curious to see how that goes.

Lots of discussion on it in the general "What are you watching" thread.

Canadians are boring people. Their government should allow them to enjoy drugs.
