Yep, he was amazing in Bloodline. One of the best acting jobs I've seen in season 1.

When anyone asks me what to watch on Netflix, I always tell them to start with Bloodline (unless they are sci-fi or superhero nerds). Incredible cast, setting, and story line. The way they shot S1 had me from the start.

I've been itching to rewatch lately, but had so many things stacked up on my DVR. I cleared out His Dark Materials and Watchmen over the holidays, which were both very good, so may give Bloodline a look in the weekends to come. Just finished Messiah and thought is was very good. Looking forward to S2. It's not what I though it would be at all. Good cast as well.

Don't F*** with Cats is incredible - I was a skeptic, but it was fascinating - great storytelling.

“The Outsiders” as in The Greasers and The Socials? We read that book then watched the movie like in 7th grade.

Saw Netflix has an Aaron Hernandez documentary coming out soon...I’ll probably have to check that one out.

My GF has been talking about this Don’t F with Cats. Says it’s supposed to be pretty funny. Any thoughts on this one?

It is not funny,... it's pretty fucking hard to watch at times and the core story is messed up. It's a good watch for crime drama but NOT funny, in the slightest... at least not after the first five minutes.

I watched Dont F With Cats. It was alright. I'm not a huge fan of true crime dramas and this reminded me why. Felt like they could've easily told the whole story in an hour and most of it was padding for dramatic effect.

Agreed,... it’s worth a try but yeah. Didn’t need three episodes.

After really liking Free Solo a friend suggested to me to watch "Meru" which is on amazon prime.

It has the same film director. Incredible story, arguably better than Free Solo.

If you liked Free Solo I would very much recommend you watch The Dawn Wall, which is the story of Tommy Caldwell (the friend who helped Alex prepare his route in Free Solo). It is a much better movie IMO and makes you really respect Caldwell and his partner Kevin Jorgeson as people. I believe it's on Netflix.

I couldn't get over the girlfriend in Free Solo,... just something about her left me, "Yeah, I'd be finding ways to die too."

Funny you say that... Watched this on Youtube a few years ago... It sums everything up in about 45 minutes.

Has anyone watched the Aaron Hernandez documentary yet? Good Lord that whole situation is nuts. I'm learning a lot about him than I expected.

I just finished It. Geez! It seems someone has an agenda they are trying to drum up. I just hope the families involved get some money through this documentary.

Started watching Goliath with Billy Bob Thorton. It's on Amazon. not Netflix. Watched up to S1E4 so far. Vey good show IMO. Thorton plays a divorced alcoholic attorney who takes on a large defense contractor and their large legal firm led by William Hurt. Supporting cast is very good.

Watched all three on Saturday. Just made me sad...I guess I should have expected that.

I don’t see why they made it into three episodes as they didn’t really answer a lot of the questions. Just seemed to highlight the salaciousness of the entire episode.

Was his bi-sexuality a result of being molested by his babysitter as a youngster?
What part did his dysfunctional parents play in his personal choices?
Can the murders be attributed to CTE? My opinion is it didn’t but If so, then let’s go ahead an ban tackle football in the U.S.

Personally, I think he was a sociopath.

We have the ID doc recorded and will probably get to it over the weekend. Was tempted to watch the finale last night but thought it’d be best to wait until I saw rather first two episodes.

imo it seemed to kind of jump around from topic to topic without really diving in so it didn't really mesh well....i felt like for as much publicity it was getting, it would have been better..and i get the CTE thing but lets be real, this dude was murdering people in college....i wish it would have had more about the gangs and stuff he was rolling with

Just finished Longmire and Goliath.

They did a pretty good job with the series finale of Longmire. Really enjoyed the characters and the cell phone at the very end was a stroke of genius.

Hope they bring Goliath back for a fourth season, but they left the S3 finale where it works if there is a S4 or if that was the last episode in the series.

Not sure what I'm going to start next.

Can't believe I never watched it sooner, but just finished mad men. I've only ever felt this upset to finish a show a couple times before, really fantastic show.

One of the best ever and the final scene with the Coca Cola ad is the best ending of any series finale ever IMO.

I've been wanting to watch MM for the longest time. I keep putting it off due to it being 7 seasons and almost 100 eps. Way too many TV/series options these days.

Just finished Longmire and Goliath.

Goliath is one of my favs. Really wish they would have kept Longmire going a little longer. Still haven't done the last season of Goliath. Started it, but was interrupted. High quality IMO.

In terms of starting next... If you haven't done Bosch, take a look. If you've never watched Bloodline, it's one of the best NF series ever IMO.

I was nervous the entire final season that I wouldn't be satisfied with the ending, and one of my probably two favorite shows ever would leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. Luckily they hit it out of the park with the ending as well.

Is anyone else kind of "over" Netflix at this point? I feel like there's a lot more content that I watch just to kill time than stuff I would really consider "must see."

We should all probably just cancel it and subscribe to the Disney+/ESPN+/Hulu bundle TBH. $12.99 per month, what a value!
