LIfe, Death and Robots has me hooked but it's weird. It's like adolescent/young adult animus packaged with slightly too much nudity and nihilism but I can't stop watching because I like most of the episodes.
There have been a few duds sprinkled in, and I hate myself for this, but I do like the show. It'd be more enjoyable if the creators had more nuanced views but I'll be looking forward to a 2nd season.
Hmmm, not nearly as hype as the season two trailer,... but I’ll still watch for sure.
The youngsters are 14 or so
Pretty excited for OA season 2 as well. Really liked season 1.
Oh shit that is out already??? One of my favorite shows.
Never even heard of OA before today... pretty crazy how much content NF has now.

Pretty sure it comes out this Friday.
Give it a shot. Pretty damn good IMO.
On amount of content, NF, Amazon, and Hulu are all starting to partner more and more with other networks. I'm a big fan of European, and to a lesser extent Canadian and Australian shows. NF has started to co-produce a bunch with those guys, but also simply buying rights post production. I watch most Euro shows real time (Euro schedule), but I see more and more popping up on NF and the others. Acorn is another pay service that is exploiting the Euro TV market.
I started watching with very low expectations while chilling in FL on vacation. I got hooked quickly. Curious to see how they do S2. I hope they don't go to far off the deep edge post S1 mystery.
There are a ton of Swedish, German, and Australian shows on Netflix that I love. The Rain, Glitch, Dark (seriously go watch Dark right now), Perfume, etc...
Always watch in original language with subtitles. A lot of the emotion gets lost if you try and listen in English.
Anybody watch the Umbrella Academy? Wasn't sure whether to put it here or the comic book thread. Finished the season a week ago. It's mostly enjoyable except for Ellen Page. She's just fucking awful. There is a weird incest thing going on with two of the characters. Not Cersei and Jamie level though. There's some decent humor. Feels more like a show you'd see on USA or Syfy than Netflix though. I think it's rated TV-14, probably would have been better with a MA rating. I'd give it a 6/10. Would have been higher but Ellen Page really dragged it down.

I watched it. Your ratings are pretty spot on. Page is brutal!
I loved the flashback childhood scenes.

IT'S NOT OK!
Umbrella academy is awesome. The OA season 2 is blowing my mind.
What is OA?
Not Netflix, but watched the start of Season 2 of Barry. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it. Getting rave reviews.
Anyone watch "YOU" - Netflix Original. On its premiere season. Creepy stalker series. Wife wanted to watch it. It kept my attention on how creepy it was. Wasn't too bad.
The funny thing is i was glancing through shows and came across the trailer and told my wife, want to watch this one (Knowing she wouldn't like it because it was creepy. She confirmed my thoughts.)
Then time goes by and said "hey i keep seeing people say that they liked a new show on Netflix called YOU." I'm like...that's the one i showed you. Her response was "oh - well i guess we can watch it."
