This clown again

Apparently he didn't learn anything from his last ass whippin' when he was talking smack about ND's independence.
ND already plays 8-9 P4 teams a year, we don't NEED to be in a conference! It's literally the reason ND gets special treatment with bowl selections and is considered a P4 team despite not being in a P4 conference. Other conferences even acknowledge ND as a P4 team as they count as one by their rules.

USC continued to infer they only want to keep playing the game if the game has 0.0% negative impact on their playoff chances.

Big Ten Media Days is the biggest collections of cowards you’ll ever assemble. All just spouting nonsense about how they play such tough games, when we lose 4 games we deserve to be automatically in.

Cignetti's mouth was entertaining and fun... until he coached like an absolute coward against ND in a nothing-to-lose playoff game.

Don't get me wrong: Indiana wasn't winning that game, period.

But he coached the 2nd, 3rd and most of the 4th quarters like he was in the greatest defensive struggle of all time.

He just did what Kiffin did to Urban in 2009. And it frustrated Urban like it did Freeman. 'We have no chance to defeat you. The talent level gap is too great. But you will NOT destroy and humiliate us in the final score.

Cig is fun and a blast of fresh air. He's the new Howard Schnellenberger, Jimmy Johnson and Lane Kiffin. A lot of kids like that.

He wants Indiana to be the fun, fresh, hipper, cooler alternative to boring old Iowa, Purdue, Wisconsin, Minny and Sparty. They are having their best recruiting year ever and just got a qb to commit to them over Auburn.

It rubs some people the wrong way and he doesnt care. And again, if he just takes Indiana to a bowl game on an annual basis, Indiana will be thrilled.

We get you went to IU but you don't belong on this board if u think they were competitive with ND

I don’t think a single ounce of Freeman was frustrated by the IU game.

Yeah IU will be thrilled. And Curt will get an offer from a "name" power and drop IU like an ugly girl who doesn't put out. And take 15 players with him.

99% of football coaches are total dipshits
Agreed. I certainly appreciate the way Marcus presents and packages himself. If he's a fraction of what he projects himself to be when no one is watching, we're doing alright. So is he.

Good majority of that 99% are millionaires at the college and pro level. Then at the high school level, they either yield immense influence and or also hold other key positions within the faculty.

Pretty mind boggling when you really stop and think about it.

It certainly is mind boggling. We have a former college football head coach who is now a U.S. senator. He couldn’t name the branches of government.

My thoughts:
I’d put Skoronski over Paris Johnson (won the Big 10 Lineman of the year the same year at the same position)

Donovan Jackson over Wyatt Davis (3xAll Big 10, 1st team all American and National champion>1X all Big 10/All American in the 2020s) though Davis was the conference’s lineman of the year in 2020

Corum should likely be in over Walker based on accolades but I don’t care too much on that one

Egbuka does not deserve to be on here, he’s never been 1st team all conference. David Bell, Chris Olave, even Jeremiah Smith would be better choices)

Warren rightly gets the nod at TE, notably the second All American TE from the Big 10 in the 2020s.

Defense is as correct as it can get imo, the only squabble I could legitimately see is Brisker vs Nubin at safety.

I wanted to disagree with Higgins but the Big 10 hasn’t had very many game breaking inside linebackers this decade

And he's probably going to be the next governor of Alabama. All good.

Jim Tressel is Lt. Governor of Ohio. He resigned due to scandal 15 years ago and never coached again. This is also fine.

What are we doing putting out an all 2020's team when we're halfway through the decade??

B1G is interesting to me this year, it seems more top-heavy than a year ago (PSU, OSU, Oregon seem like the only sure things). People are hyping up teams like Nebraska and Illinois; Nebraska had a horrible second half last year and didn't really play well against the tougher opponents on their schedule a year ago, and Illinois historically has never had back-to-back solid seasons. I'm just curious if they'll cave under the weight of their own hype, but their schedule is pretty weak.

Meanwhile people are writing off IU as a flash in the pan, even though they seemingly did pretty well in the transfer portal and don't play anybody. Michigan? They lost a lot of talent on a 9 win team a year ago and likely have a true Fresh QB.

Of course, there are surprises every year. Team like Sparty seemingly doesn't have a ton of talent, but a QB with a high ceiling (Chiles). Curious who it will be.
