I am. I just rewound it and have watched it and anybody that has tivo should rewind to when they ask Teo how he was doing, he said "you got to ask Barrett or one of the other guys with us here. We're holding up". The whole time stink-eyeing Barrett Jones.

The funny part is that when the espn dude walks away, I swear Teo is still staring at Barrett and whispers "punk".

Can any of you confirm or deny that just happened?

*edit - I have watched it five times now. That is exactly what happened. If you look directly across the aisle from Teo, there is another Bama dude sitting there and he smirks when Teo does it.

Love it...

I thought he said something along the lines of... Barrett and another couple guys have also been on the circuit the past couple days and we're all holding up. Manti was definitely looking at Jones afterwards but I couldn't make anything out that he said. I only saw it live so I could be offbase.

Dude Teo and Barrett are boys. They have been having fun this whole awards circuit. Teo is one of those guys, just seems like he likes to banter with other players and enjoys the friendly competition.

Also Manziel's dad reminds me of the dad that followed his son's every move in every play throughout high school, took him home after the game, and glued his eyes open to film tape while he badgered him telling him how he needs to get better. Sorry just my opinion.

Wooly, is Teo being funny or is legit bad blood before the big game?

Anyone see the feature they did on Ara during SportsCenter? It was really good. They're honoring him tonight, so perhaps they'll rerun it.

I don't know. Wakeup said that they are friends a couple posts up, but that's the first I have heard of them even knowing eachother until now. They are from completely different parts of the country and have never played eachother. I would like to see some proof of that.

I have rewound it several times, and Teo definitely calls him a punk.

He does call him a punk. But during their first awards ceremony (I forget which one), Barrett made a little joke about Teo, something friendly. Then, in the next awards ceremony, Teo got him back during his speech.

On the pre-interview stuff with him and Barrett on CFB daily tonight, they were talking about how they have been going back and forth, but it was all in friendly competition.

If you played sports before, you can envision a guy like Teo. They love the competition, they love talking smack, but it in no way was "cold-blooded." That is my honest opinion.

Thanks for the heads up.

Jones has been at at least two of the other stops Te'o had been this week. They have spent a lot of time together. Both have mentioned the other in acceptance speeches too in friendly trash talk.

They were featured at the same with Lou Holtz today during CFB Live. They talked about being around each other and feeding off each others acceptance speeches. There is definitely no bad blood between them, all in good fun.
