Just played MW3. I wasn't a fan of the game play, but I never played MW2 so maybe it will take some getting used to. User movements seemed a bit more robotic than black ops and also the weapons seem a bit more extra-terrestrial for lack of a better term.

No contest. MW3 is the best true shooter I have EVER played. Tons of holy "OH MY GOD" moments, slick visuals, and the multiplayer is boss.

MW3's campaign, after three games... simply put... GOAT. And I mean that.

Wow.... I am thoroughly disappointed with MW3... They had 2 years to develope this game... 2 years to come up with something awesome and maybe just a little refreshing.... There is very, very few minute differences and additions to the game play. A couple new type of perks, some new additions to how u customize the gun. There are hardly any new killstreaks. They could have at least used the same killstreaks and done something alittle more creative with them. The game just feels exactly the same, which isnt that bad... but the single worst thing about this game... the online maps....

I cannot understand how after 2 years thats the best they could do with the maps. I played for 6 hours straight last night, i think i played all of the maps, and I honestly only like 2 maps. And i didnt even think those 2 were great. The maps are WAYYYYYY to f'n small IMO. I dont expect BF3 size maps. But there isnt one map in this game that is the size of Afghan, wasteland, or even Sub Base from MW2. And not only are the size of the maps bad, the overall design and course lay out are pretty poor... Theres just too much **** in the way and all over the place. You cant run and jump up on **** like you used to be able to. I feel like 90% of the area in these mw3 maps are small hallways or street corridors...? There is hardly any open range of space... So this leads to constant ****ing camping!!! go home you f'n campers!! What made MW2 so great was that it was a run and gun game!! you didnt have to f'n sit around and beat off waiting for someone to come by. In MW3 the maps are a god dang campers paradise!!! Highrise from MW2 was an excellent map. It was friendly to all types of players, Run and gunners, snipers, campers. There isn't one map in this game that is sniper friendly. Not one! Overall, it seems like all of the good map builders that used to work for Infiniti ward were the guys who got fired or run out the door.... Its like everything that was good about mw2 maps was completely ignored and they decided to start from scratch.... MORONS I TELL YOU!

I would not recommend buying this game right away. Def go try it out at a buddies or something first. Im gonna give the game its shot and im gonna keep playing it, but if the same bullshit happens all week that i experienced last night im selling it back to gamestop pronto. And ill go back to playing BF3 and MW2

So far, IMO MW3 is a disappointment but I only have about 1.5 hours into it.

What did you expect? The maps have been getting smaller and smaller since MW1. The majority of the COD fan base want to be in the action constantly, so they make the maps smaller.

One thing Battlefield did was include different active spawn points you can choose. You can choose to spawn knee deep, or from a distance for a Tactical advantage. I think this is a very good feature (IMO)

I agree. For instance if you spawn into the S---t a few times and get killed, you can spawn away and take a different approach or change up your kit.

We rocked the SOFLAM last night. I carry the Javelin and a friend set the SOFLAM up on top of a building. He would designate targets, and I literally would fire from a distance destroying vehicles. I strongly recommend if you play BF3 to try this out with a good teammate; It is dominating

MW2 had medium sized maps that kept u in the action. And it had epic smaller maps like Favela that kept you in the action that weren't retarded like the new maps in MW3. Overall i think the flawed map design is what will ruin this game.

I have agreed with 100% of what you have said in your last 2 posts. The maps in MW3 are all the same. You are either running through a busted out building or running underground in an open subway system. The maps in MW2 were 10x better than this garbage.

With all that said, I'm still going to log a ton of time playing this game, but might give BF3 a shot after reading all the glowing reviews on here.

Just sold MW3 to a guy I work with for $50. Me and my roommate did not like it. Like BO only the maps are generic and guns are superficial. Debating on putting the $ towards BO maps or getting BF3.

i have been emailing the game developers for years to not only have the crouch feature, but a designated Tea Bag button. Let's be honest, that is 50% of the reason I still play these days.
