Sonofabiscuit. It worked the other day.

EDIT: Try this one - Temple Football Forever | Five Misconceptions About Temple Football

I conceded many of the author's points in the comments, but his #3...about Temple having players? Not to mention the fact he's trying to compare 2009 Notre Dame and Temple teams. WTF? This team is no where near what it was in 2009. Yeah, Weis had a couple good recruiting classes, but he was not very good at developing a lot of those players. Not to mention the fact the author brought up games from 2009 as comparison where Temple and Notre Dame both played UConn(Temple didn't play in 2009 btw, which I pointed out), and he didn't get the score right on the Temple/Navy game in 2009 either. Guy is a joke.

what's everyone's thoughts on the 2 deep for the game??

suprises?

for me the biggest was seeing James in 2 deep but not CJ...really thought he was making some noise and then seemed to not hear too much once camp came around

Procise still has a big jump to switch positions. I don't think either him or James will see much of the field. When tj is not playing slot it will be either a TE or RB

Thats kind of what I was thinking. We've got two freshman in the two deep at WR, which kind of tells you how weak we were at that position last year and going on into this year. Not to slight James or Corey there, but I honestly felt WR was a position we needed more talent in. I think we're going to be much better this year in that group. Davaris Daniels is going to have a monster year this year I think. TJ is going to fit well in a slot position. Brown will make the secondary respect his speed. I feel much better about this group than I did last year.

James may simply be a better and more willing blocker right now than CJ. Could just be that simple.

Denbrock during media day said that James will be able to get on the field because he was willing to block anything including Dlineman. I thought that was great, it shows that he just wants to win. I think it'll be a lot like D.Smith last year. Everytime he was in we ran the ball to his side.

Agreed and against teams like Bama its not gonna work but we did it against Miami and a few others and they just couldn't stop us. Big picture though your right. We should have a guy there that can do both.

I would take this as the actual game against South Florida, not the Bama game in south Florida. It doesn't make much sense to overlook an opponents in the championship game. Makes more sense to overlook South Florida en route to Michigan in 2011.

mine too. i was at both.

ulukinatme--yes. that makes sense. but, for a coach to preach SO much about not looking into the past, can he really say, he's not that far removed from the USF game 3 years ago?

meh. whatevs---GAME WEEK!!!

Kelly seems very very eager to get the bad taste of our last loss out. Temple is going to get throttled! 300 +yds on the ground.

Michigan will need their big boy pants to keep it a game.

I'm calling Jaylon getting his 1st sack in the 3rd quarter.

Ok, let's make this interesting, now that Jaylon will be starting. I'll put up 5mil vbucks if anyone wants to bet against me on this.

First sack of the year will be Bruce Heggie. He will also have the first pick of the year. Mark it down.

Also first touchdown ... on a fumble recovery after making a tackle for loss (team's first of the season, both) ... never mind that he doesn't play defense. Just mark it down.
