Purchased two nosebleeds tickets for 80 euro each plus fees. There are decent seats going for like 350 euro a piece, thats pure madness

Not sure where in the stadium those prices represent, but 350€ is in line with tickets available through both ND and Navy. Upstairs corners were $195, sidelines around the 20s were $295.

Hate to break it to ya, but the only other games featuring 2 FBS teams are Vandy vs Hawaii, USC vs San Jose State, and San Diego State vs Ohio

What makes you say that? It was 9am in 2012 the last time we played Navy in Dublin. I hope you're right, I wasn't a huge fan of the 9 am kick.

There were a bunch of other games in 2012 since that was the traditional opening week so it was kind of a lead into that day's games. Since this year is the week before, that's not an issue and can play at a more traditional time.

Gotcha that makes sense, rings a bell now. Wouldn't benefit NBC or anyone to do 9am in that case if you can get more eyes on the game at 12:30ET.

Also the NW-Nebraska game last year with the evening kickoff provided a greater atmosphere and its just a more traditional slot for sporting events here. I would imagine event organizers and local businesses would prefer this kickoff time.

Wasn't too bad. Rack Em's mom had pancakes and sausage ready for me by 8:30 along with a tall 22 oz Guiness. Don't know where she gets all that energy from on 2 hours sleep.

It's a de facto home game isn't it? If it isn't NBC, that's news to me. Clash's first post in this thread also has NBC, so if not we should correct that.
