247 is projecting the ReliaQuest Bowl vs South Carolina. But I assume their projection assumes an L against USC when it is a scientific fact that ND will rush for 350 yards and get the W.

It would be an absolutely wild finish to win out, finish 10-3, and around #10 nationally lol

I couldn’t care less if ND is ranked right now. Win out (or at least avoid laying another egg by beating a horrible Navy & BC) and the ranking takes care of itself.

The last thing I want to read on message boards & Twitter is ND fans whining about not being ranked after last night. Great win but it doesn’t erase two inexcusable losses. Just keep winning.

Imagine sneaking into a NY6 bowl somehow and getting the monkey off our back by absolutely smashing someone after having lost to Marshall and Stanford lolol.

I heard Sampson say a week or so ago that ND would not likely be in the mix for a NY6 bowl even if they finished 9-3 b/c there’s going to be so many 1 & 2 loss teams ahead of them.j

The real issue is we just knocked the ACC's only reasonable shot at a CFP spot out of the running when we pantsed Clemson. They will likely get the only ACC NY6 autobid, which we theoretically could have backddored ourselves into. Catch-22 though, because only way we're in the conversation is by beating Clemson's ass.

Classic SEC bias at play there.

The thing is, Tennessee is now guaranteed to be in the top 4, since Mich and OSU ahead of them play each other. When clearly, Tennessee showed they weren’t competitive with GA and shouldn’t get another crack at them.

TCU needs to remain undefeated and Oregon needs to face a 1 loss USC/UCLA, winner could jump Tennessee.

If Michigan vs. Ohio St. is a close game they might not drop the loser out of the top 4.

Actually, that might be the only thing that can keep Tennessee out. If Oregon finishes 12-1, their loss to Georgia was a lot worse than Tennessee's. So it might take one of the Los Angeles' teams to win out to jump them.

AP poll, how in the hell can Texas at 6-3 be ranked higher than ND @ 6-3? ND took #2 O$U down to the wire at Columbus, beat undefeated UNC (at the time), and beat (3) ranked teams (BYU - neutral site, Syracuse on the road and undefeated Clemson at home). Yes, 2 eggs laid against Stanford and Marshall, but Tex-ass, beat only one ranked team ... Kansas St. WTF?!?

For real,… if Clemson had lost on a last second play and we had killed either of the other two literally nothing would have changed.

Tennessee and Oregon each have one loss to UGA. As long as UGA keeps winning and they both keep winning while others fall off, it could be hard to deny them a spot at the table depending on how things shake out.

Breaking the BCS/NY6 bowl curse with a win over Tulane would be the trashiest boner ever.

I don’t know what your talking about. ND winning a BCS bowl over former 3x SEC champion sounds pretty legit.

That’s more than Arkansas, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Miss St, Texas AM, and Missouri combined!

20 feels about right. We were around 30 based on AP votes this week.

ND back in at #20
Should have bought those lottery tickets Friday.
