It can vary from state to state. Some un-dyed diesel has the higher sulfur content. Some argue that dyed diesel helps lubricate your engine a little better, but I'm not sure there's anything concrete to back that up.

For all intents and purposes, the only difference between the two is the dye. The dyed diesel is cheaper, as it should be- since it isn't going on roads it shouldn't have to pay road taxes. The two diesels perform the same.

buddy also mentioned that less refined = slower breakdown? Thoughts?

Should probably be the case. I think all things being equal.

But I don't know anymore these days, I'm not a chemist and I don't know the nuances of how ethanol, additives, epa restrictions/guidelines, etc. all come into play on our fuel.

Back to WD. I'm giving this season a chance. I'm too invested not to. But I'm becoming increasingly annoyed by so many things I can't list them. We'll see how the first half goes.

I'll side in the camp that believes cars running on gas several years after the apocalypse is more feasible than flying dragons.

Like gas convos lol..

Just kidding BBG. I'm all in on this season. Negan is to fabulous of a character not to watch. I will hate to see him go when he does.

Touche.

Negan is amazing, but I'm just ready to move on. If this is just a continuation of last season, I'll be done with WD.

I'm with Bery... no you won't....

It will be interesting to see how things shape up. I'm thinking we'll get a big time death (top 4 character) this year of one of the good guys. Hoping Negan's demise is epic.

Am I alone in thinking the dump people are dumb.

Someone important needs to get killed off before I feel like the characters are in any sort of danger again. Glenn and Abraham's deaths feel so distant. Spencer and whoever else got killed were on the show for the sole purpose of being a victim a few episodes down the line.

I'm with you. And I hope Gabe and Carl get it too.

Here's my hunch/out of left field death predictions for season 8 (both good and bad):

  • Rosita
  • Gabriel
  • Gregory
  • Simon
  • Jadis - dumpster leader
  • Eric - Aaron's husband
  • Jared - punk savior at The Kingdom exchanges.
  • Tiger

Here's my hunch/out of left field death predictions for season 8 (both good and bad):

  • Rosita Maybe not. About the only provider of sex appeal and attractiveness left on the show
  • Gabriel Near certainty. Has gone from also ran status for like 3 seasons, and is now being thrust into spotlight, a la, whatever the girl's name was that started banging Abraham then heroically sacrifices herself at the end of last season.
  • GregorySure, low hanging fruit...and a "leader" in the new world order
  • SimonNot recalling who that is
  • Jadis - dumpster leader Probably
  • Eric - Aaron's husband Near certainty. He's an also ran, but their love story keeps being brought to forefront.
Also opens the door for an Aaron and Jesus gay power couple down the line
  • Jared - punk savior at The Kingdom exchanges. Yeah, probably. Rando character,
but he gets run time on the show.
  • Tiger Yeah. We needed to be reminded of our humanity and the role pets play in our lives

Solid list, Bery.

Also - I know they aren't OMG characters but they are characters that play a role to an extent in the show that they aren't deemed an extra.

Walker to my head if I had to pick a shocking death it would be Morgan.

A possible death that I don't want to see is Jerry - I think with his character being a hit with fans that his life got extended.

Good list. I think Gregory is first to go. Hopefully by Maggie.
I do think one of Carol, Daryl, or Morgan get the ax.

Red diesel dude. Have you learned nothing in this thread.

^^^damn Daryl better stay all the way into the sunset in the series.

I don't mind if Carol goes - that'd be a big one.

Daryl is my favorite good guy, but he seems to doing other projects, so I would not be shocked.

Rosita is guaranteed to die precisely because she is hot. They've killed off every single hot woman.

I think Gabriel is going to survive and be on the show for a long time. His character is unique and if he was going to die this season I think it would have been in episode 1. Negan is gonna torture the Jesus out of him though.

I think Rick, Maggie, Carl, and Daryl are safe long term. However Dwights prominent role and arc makes me worried about Daryl.

One of Michonne, Carol, Morgan, and Eugene are going to die this season would be my guess.

Carol has pretty much always been my least favorite character. I don't get why people love her.

I feel like there was some strong foreshadowing to a post-Rick W.D. It's Carl's world. He and Judith are the future. Imo, everyone else is secondary to the main plot.*

*Even if this isn't what happens, my main issue is that I'm bored with the epic villain roles that pop up. I just want to see some progress towards building a post-apocalypse civilization, finding a cure, etc.

** Or not. Turn everyone into zombies. Idc. But do something different besides villain, war, villain, war. It's lame.

Yeah if there is going to be more fighting between humans I am hoping it is in the context of trying to find a cure. Negan was scary and interesting but now that they are free from his control he is just a more ruthless Governor.

Can any comic readers provide a spoiler free high level indication of whether there is some kind of end game?

GILF?
Feminist favorite?

No.

All she is is annoying. I'd tolerate it if she had some bangability.

Last season when she was thrust into the epic heroine role, with 2 civilizations depending on her, was some of the most excruciatingly difficult television to ever suffer through.

I think the comics are an on-going series as well. Last i heard - the Negan arc is near the end of where the comics are right now. The comics do go past Negan a little bit. .....I think.

They do and they don't. Kinda hard to explain without spoilers. Highlight below for what I mean.

Negan isn't dead in the comic books. He gets away and he hasn't resurfaced. Him and Carl have an odd relationship as well. So Negan is "gone", but he's not dead. So he could resurface and his relationship with Carl (a weird quasi kinship) would infer that he eventually does so.
