Good episode. The escape, and the loss of XXX... Didn't care for XXX anyway. JDM puts in another good effort. Nothing earth shattering but good stuff. Interesting lead in about the Kingdom foreshadows where this season will probably end. Someone got their gun back and folks are reclaiming their ballz..... You're kitchen is a mess!! Second half looks to be more all-out. See you in Feb.

At some point, I think they will tie in somewhere at the Kingdom. Carol's connection with the King will expand soon.

LMAO. I'm guessing it is the girl that helped Tara?? escape in the episode with the all female camp. Maybe a tie in to them joining forces with the Kingdom, Hilltop, and Alexandria?

Yes. Like Morgan and think he can add something bad ass to the story line. Carol I wish would just put one between her own eyes.

Lots of bad mixed with some good in this episode but I will focus on the good:

(1) Negan continues to be an awesome character: "You're kitchen is A MESS" lol

(2) Daryl is a certifiable badass and I can't wait until he fucking kills a shitload of Saviors.

(3) Killed off two characters I couldn't stand so that was good. I think Rosita is sticking around long-term which is also good.

I agree, but the only reason I say this is because I'm starting to find myself liking Negan. And if most fans feel the same way, than it may just make sense. If you are picking up what I'm putting down.

Personally for me, I like him as a character but am rooting for his death to be slow and painful. He is the "pure evil" character that was needed. Negan has shown that he is bigger than any one person but this past episode has shown his vulnerabilities. He is smart and plotting and seems to think one step ahead of everyone else even though he appears to leave himself open to harm at times. I like that he tries to intimidate those who will not be intimidated (other than Rick and who can blame him)To this point, NO ONE has pushed back after some atrocity that occurred to their respective group. I am beyond excited to see what happens when Rick and co. come firing back with a retribution kick in the yam bag.

Negan is pure evil but is hilarious in being pure evil. I'm not rooting for him but can see why people in his group follow him. He does everything with a smile on his face and explains why he is going to do what he's getting ready to do. He makes it clear that he is forced into making this decision. JMD has done a masterful job of being the villain you love to see what he is going to do next.

All I'll say is I like his character. I have a family member that reads the comics, so I talk with him about that a lot. I would never ruin this show for anyone, but I know what goes on with Negan in the comics.

He's the heel that the crowd loves to boo. You don't really root for his cause, but you enjoy him because he makes the show better. I said ages ago that the introduction of Negan could make or break the show. If they cast it wrong or portrayed it wrong, the show was probably done for because Negan is one of the best things in the comic book. They can't throw around all the language that Negan has in the comics, but they've done a pretty good job bringing the character to life I think. They needed an actor with just the right amount of charisma to pull it off, and I think JDM has it.

The guy that plays him isn't much better. Watched Talking Dead last night and he was a complete douche. Can't believe he gets to bang Chloe Bennett.

Also not really a spoiler but there is a fan theory out there called the Carl Old Man Theory and it basically says TWD is a telling of the Apocolypse by Carl as an old man.

This new group is interesting...I don't remember them from the comics, so we're getting something new here. Often times original TV content ends up falling flat, but I'm curious to learn more about this artsy/emo new group.

Loving Jerry and Ezekiel right now. The moments are brief, but it brings some levity/comic relief that the show is missing without Abraham. You need a bit of that with all the tense situations. Jerry might be my new favorite character in awhile, not since Negan anyway. Jesus was kind of fun at first when he was messing with Rick and Daryl, but now he's just kind of this ninja spy that sneaks around.
