Agree, bad timing. This season was really rolling, they put this piece in to stall the Glen fate, but I think it's safe to say he's probably alive. They could have done Morgan's backstory at any time really. I'm sure Chris Hardwick will come out next week, if Glen's fate is even revealed then, and say "Ha, we got you!"

As far as this episode, I liked the Morgan storyline. It was fascinating to see him transform. I didn't like the predictability of how Eastman's demise came about, but it was still good. Lennie James is just a damn good actor.

In regard to Glen, the only thing I find curious is, and I may be reading in to this, I saw a piece that talked about how last night was the first time since the pilot that Steven Yeun was not in the opening credits. I went back and watched the opening of last night's episode and his name was definitely not shown. I find that interesting because there have been other episodes where he was not shown at all, but was still in the credits.

I also think we will have to wait longer to find out Glen's fate. They most likely won't show it next week either as we will see some of the story back in Alexandria. I am betting they will resort to waiting until the last episode of this season and then we will get some sort of a glimpse of Glen and then have to wait until next season to find out for sure. That seems to be the MO with stuff like this.

My prediction is the Alexandria crew will go looking for him and find a bunch of carnage in the alley with the pocket watch or locket among the body parts and gore. Season ends and we will have to wait until next season to find out for sure. Or we get a half second shot of Glen all bloody and staggering and groaning before the end of the show. Is he a walker? Is he bit and not turned yet? Is he covered in Nicolas' guts to throw off the walkers so he could escape? We won't know. They will string this out for as long as possible.

Was Rick's voice the one shouting to open the gate?

I do like how almost the entire season has taken place in less than 24 hours.

Alright... I am finally caught up to the end of season 5. Does anyone know if there are streaming links so I can catch up with this season? I do not have cable.

On Talking Dead after the Glen episode, they read a letter from the writers that said we will see Glenn again. In flashback or otherwise. (dum dun dun...)

Is he covered in Nicolas' guts to throw off the walkers so he could escape? We won't know. They will string this out for as long as possible.

I've heard others suspect this, but human guts wont stop the walkers. The way Mashone and Carol did it was with walker blood. I'm pretty sure being covered in human blood would be like walking around with a steak necklace. Ha!

Interesting on both points. I asked my wife who shouted when it happened. We didn't know. I also forgot that it's pretty much been only one day.

Check this out: Watch The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 4

The videos are locked until you support them, which is either a "Like" on Facebook, a Tweet, or something on Google+. Looks like they work, I already watched it on AMC, but I just clicked the Tweet button on a locked video and it unlocked it for viewing.

If the other links did not work you can try Wootly.ch or TheWatchSeries.to (may redirect you but it's the same site)

Just finished last nights episode and thought it was really good. I don't care about Glenn so that had no affect on it. I think he's alive though since they put this episode where they did.

So I only had a few questions about this. I have been waiting for this for a long time as well and I wasn't disappointed.

  • How long was he in a hospital bed with no food, or IV fluid?
  • Why wasn't his wound, as quoted by the black dood as being pretty funky, overly infected?
  • How come he wasn't a victim in the hospital?
  • Is his wife's kiss with his ex partner a sign that there was an affair pre-apocolypse? IE, if its only been a few weeks that is pretty quick to develop a relationship.

Plot points you can see coming:

  • [*]Black kid has to shoot his own mom. Or mom finds the door open and invites some friends over.
[*]Ex-Partner becomes Zombie at some point and husband shoots him.

Lol looking over the start of this thread... I was got those 2 points pretty good.

Also another decent filler. Learning about the Alexadrians. Lesbo action! Maggie knocked up!

Last night's episode was kind of meh. I feel like they are dragging out this Glenn thing too much now. That or he is really dead and they want everyone to assume he is alive.

They're really milking the "Is Glenn dead?" angle here. I think it's pretty obvious he survived at this point, we just don't have the details. Wasn't really into this episode, but I'm looking forward to the resolution of the walker situation outside the walls.

[EDIT] GK beat me to it on Glenn

I thought last episode was pretty awful and they gave a half assed effort because they know they can with the question of Glen being dead or alive.

Yup TWD was definitely Back in the Saddle again with another terrible episode. Was starting to get my hopes up after the first few.

It cracks me up that every time there is an episode that doesn't create an entirely different arch or surprise, the entire show is completely shite.

I bet you fellas have a hard time finishing books, eh?

Actually I do have a hard time finishing books lol.

But seriously, the dialogue was pretty bad this episode and apparently Deanna is the only person in the world who doesn't know zombies must be stabbed in the head to die. The scene with the blonde chick on the porch was so bad too. The lesbo doctor girl was sitting reading a book and then two seconds later she and all the other side characters happened to be walking by when the blonde chick was giving her speech.

Also what was up with the lens flare thing in the beginning of the episode? Was that just my tv being weird?

Yes. I'm not sure I ever learned how to read, I just got really good at memorizing words.

All the Daryl stuff was really good while all the other stuff was really bad. I don't give two shits about Sasha or Abraham and especially don't care about a potential affair between the two.

You can tell nothing happens in an episode when they spend half of Talking Dead talking about what Merle, who has been dead for like 2 seasons, would have done in their situation.

I agree with you. This was kind of a throw away episode to me. I know it was all about giving a brief glimpse of the next big villain to make his appearance, but the whole thing with Sasha and Abraham was a little belabored if you ask me.

Just started watching this show. My wife's been addicted since day one, but I never watched it. She finally promised that if I'd watch the entire series with her, she'd watch Breaking Bad with me. I'm only half way through the first season, but it's a lot better than I expected and I'm enjoying it.

Another bad episode last night. I pretty much hate every scene with Rick in it that involves any dialogue.

I also hate all the Alexandria people minus the blonde chick, especially Deanna's son who looks like Westley from Princess Bride. They kept foreshadowing that kid shooting Carl and honestly if he actually did it I would have still been shocked.

If I was the writer this is how I would have ended the episode. Carl gets offed and then Rick shoots the kid in retaliation. Kid's blonde mom who Rick is banging comes at Rick with a knife but Morgan drops her with his stick. Or even better Michonne slices her head off.

That is how to get people to jump off their couches after a dull episode.

So.... Walker Coat revisited. I have a feeling that kid saying Mommy Mommy is going to regret it.

I don't know how I feel about reusing the walker coat thing. Part of me thinks it's lazy writing but it could also be a way to show how Rick's group just knows what to do in tough situations.

Episode was decent overall but I was hoping for a surprise or two at the end.

If anyone watched the "prologue" during Into the Badlands they introduced Negan's group.

YES! I hope they get some leeway and they're able to let Negan's dialogue fly a little bit. While cussing just to cuss doesn't necessarily make a character better, it's kind of Negan's thing. This is a show on cable that's aired after hours for mature audiences, they can always dub it over in syndication, lets not hold back completely here.

This was the worst episode that I've seen since watching. A lot of "Huh" moments.

Tower falls and allows a HUGE gaping entry into Alexandria. No rubble blocking the path?

Somehow within seconds there's hundreds of "Walkers" inside and in everyone's face. So quick at one point they get surrounded?

Deanna being weird and shouting to Rick as they make their escape into the houses was extremely awkward. Glad she's gone...also if you caught the Talking Dead she answered the questions in a very bizarre manner. Couldn't even understand her.

Carl blasts that kid every time without hesitation...why did this not happen? In the group, if you can't be trusted you're out?

Morgan's protection of known psychotic killers has become over the top. I know the "every life is precious" mentality, but if a dude has killed your people and plans to kill more. You logically are making the psychos life more precious than your group? He should have gotten that by now IMO.

Finally, this invasion into Alexandria was dragged out way too long. Think back in the episode, what all happened?

I agree that Morgan's story has become stale. Life is not precious if you are willing to sacrifice the lives of your own group for the life of an attacker.
