It seems the goal of democrat pols now is to just make her seem as sympathetic a figure as possible. Protesting is American, but Americans hate protesters... especially the kind that get in their way (causing disruptions on roads, shutting down blocks, etc).

She's sympathetic insofar as it's unfortunate that she's dead. But that's about it

So I support getting rid of illegal criminals out of the US, but damn ICE needs some training. Also not sure if this guy died or not.

What a shitty situation. Whistles, loser onlookers, people trying to disrupt. It's making ICE roll with heavier crews to get the criminals out. You'd think they could just use tasers and chemicals to push people back and subdue these guys.

One thing ive noticed on social media and tv clips is there is a LOT of people that seem to be oversimplifying or outright lying about ICE's police powers. I wouldn't be surprised if we found out some people were taking that advice as gospel and getting themselves into hot water.

Warning for people - ICE's authority is not limited to detaining and arresting illegal immigrants. That's their main purpose and their mission? but if they see you doing federal felonies (anything more nefarious than breathing), they can arrest you.

An imperfect comparison would be game wardens or IRS special agents I think.

Sounds like they should have more training than 8 weeks. Local police training is 6 months here. These guys don't seem too professional

I'm sure it is too short. I deal with cops every day for my job. Guys with whole ass degrees in law enforcement get out into the world and run into very funny issues*, just like any other field. Fast forward a few months..I run into them and they are doing great.

But what did these guys do wrong? I dont have an eye for this or really know what we should expect from them. So if we are going to complain about their training or professionalism, i'd like to know what they should have done differently before demanding we 5-10x their training time.

Unless these guys are ACLU-certified public defenders with DEI/critical race theory training, there is going to be a loud noisy chunk of people saying they are thugs or something lol

I didn't see it mentioned the dead nutjob did not have custody of two of her kids - takes some kind of special for a woman to either lose or not want custody of their children. Also unsure if the claims of the bull dyke agitator "wife" had put cigarettes out on the dead chick's kids.

Two baby daddies, custody of only child without a living father - unclear if new "spouse" put cigs out on children or which one(s).

Make mental hospitals great again folks.

I'm skeptical of the claims regarding her significant other. And I'm reluctant to really consider the facts of her life because it's not relevant.

But it is fair game in the broader sense because making her into some great person (and therefore above facing consequences) will naturally cause some to roll their eyes and look into these things.

Letting these lunatics have any influence on anything is straight up suicidal. People want adults in charge and then run cover for this quintessential dumbfvck whose f-ed up life is probably tame and "normal" by agitator standards. These bullshit (likely government funded) orgs exploiting these horribly broken people are straight up evil and should be defunded if not destroyed and prosecuted.

These are the kinds of lunatics that decide to spend their days not working and out trying to be a menace to ICE. I’m sure the professionalism is hard when you have the worst kind of people out there taunting and screaming at you while you try to do your job. If this dead lady is a representative sample, then it’s a bunch of people with too much confidence getting trained by liberal activists and hoping they don’t get punished in left-wing cities with activist DAs. In a normal world, Minneapolis PD would be out there providing buffer to these operations with trained officers doing their job and ICE doing theirs. Sanctuary laws make that impossible.
