Update as Ozz posted, looks like it was a hoax. But during the panic a cadet was injured as they were mistaken for the shooter.

From what I've heard, I don't think it was quite that the Midshipman mistaken for the shooter, it was the Midshipman attacking the MA who was clearing the rooms in the Academy's dormitory (Bancroft Hall) with a parade because there was a report that an ex-Midshipman kicked out of the academy was going to shoot people at the school dressed as an MA. Then the MA defended themselves against the Mid

Point: If something has been posted on the internet as a fact, it must be true.

Counterpoint: The majority of Americans who shoot other Americans aren't sophisticated enough to get involved in the political process. Many wouldn't know how to register to vote. Even if they did, many wouldn't have an opinion or would vote Republican because Republicans talk like real people and Democrats talk like elitist assholes.

We need both sides to de-escalate.

Was he just stupid? Why did he shoot the migrants if he was Anti-ICE?
And when did it get to popular to put stupid shit on bullets? Reminds me of Caleb Williams and the fingernails.

Stupid? Most people with a commie profile pic probably are. Especially if they are following left-wing rhetoric to shoot ice. They’ve been getting more and more aggressive with ice. Blocking, throwing things at their cars, are all glorified in blue sky. He may have just missed. If he didn't account for drop or windage. My suspicion is that the guy in Utah aimed face and missed.

His brother admitted he wasn’t a good shot.

Yeah how weird! This looks incredibly real! Just a little coincidence. Maybe this shooter also had a mailman who's cousin went to school with someone who talked to Trans person before. So many crazy coincidences.

Just making a cultural point. The large majority of political, school, and other nutjob shootings recently, as well as most politically motivated assassinations in our history have come from leftists/democrats. When you factor in the huge number of shootings in our large cities over drugs and robberies and gang wars (which involve a demographic that is more than 90% democrat), it's not a stretch at all to put 90% of the shooting issues on democrats. The people screaming the loudest about gun control are part of the group doing most of the shootings.

I understand. What I'm suggesting is, just because a lot drug/robbery/gang-related shootings are done by Black/Latino/poor people doesn't make them likely Democrats. Your average Crypt or Blood doesn't give a flying fuck about Kamala/AOC/Mamdani/Newsom/Stewart/Kimmel/Buttigieg/etc.

I'm sure they don't spend hours per day reading the Op/Ed pages or watching C-SPAN, but they habitually vote dem and keep people like AOC, Waters, Newsome, and so on in office, so they most certainly are part of the problem. I'll stand by my point. If leftists, democrats, and their supporters stopped shooting people, at least 90% of gun violence would disappear.

I did think it was pretty hilarious when I read that the bullets had anti-ice messaging on them, and then the messaging was just simply “anti-ice”.

It was almost like the law enforcement authorities said hey Siri, make me a picture of bullets with anti-ice messaging, and that was the end result.

I don't believe you're qualified to know.
Anyone who suggests that your average, run of the mill violent criminal is engaged in politics is a buffoon. I’m pretty sure they’re part of the 150 million Americans that don’t vote. Anytime you bring up “those people” you just can’t help but show your true self.
Racism is in your DNA.

Nah, never mentioned anything about "those people." That's you putting words in my mouth I didn't say because you can't rebut my ideas any other way... except maybe to act like a typical dem and try to shoot me. You guys don't get your way, you assassinate, burn crosses, riot, burn cities, destroy stores, assault people, set cars on fire, lynch, and act like animals. I guess when you can't win on facts and reason, you just go with your strengths... violence and screaming and acting out.

As for racism in my DNA, no. I don't vote democrat. My family has never supported any of the democrats' racist policies. My party didn't start the KKK, elect a KKK leader as Senate President, murder Lincoln, shoot at Trump, murder Charlie Kirk, shoot up church schools, tell minorities they can't succeed without their help, push Jim Crow and segregation, or say they didn't want their children going to school in a racial jungle. That would be the democrats who did all that... you know, your people. You're such a total phony. You rant about racism, then refuse to acknowledge your sides abhorrent racist policies and history and denounce it. All you do is project your shameful history onto others in order to avoid reality. Do better. Denounce your party's violence and bigotry. Demand they do better, too.

I see someone on here still refuses to acknowledge the party switch. I forgot all the Republican southern states fought to free the slaves and against state's rights, silly me
Nope, that's a poor and well-refuted attempt to spin and avoid reality. None of the Southern states were Republican during the Civil War era. They were all democrat. The political leaders of those states were democrats. Lincoln, in case you don't know, was a Republican. The government fighting to end slavery was Republican. The states fighting to keep slavery were democrat. A century later, the politicians in the Southern states who supported Jim Crow, fought for segregation, opposed the Civil Rights Act, and were often members of the KKK were invariably democrats. Very few of them switched parties later when their policies fell out of favor and the South became Republican. A few of the more conservative ones switched, but he vast majority remained in the democrat party.

Don't run from the democrats' well-documented history of racism and violence, slavery, segregation, and support for Jim Crow and the KKK. No amount of dishonest spin from the left will erase it. Time to man up, show some character, denounce it unequivocally, and demand better from them. Covering for them and claiming it didn't really happen or wasn't them is shameful and dishonest.
