I will respond honestly, even if you find it inadequate.

NOBODY MAKES MEGABUCKS from good mental health counseling and live in service.

Medicare? Medicaid? Sure, you can load up on SURGERIES, Procedures and drugs

and the Doctors
the megahospitals
Big Pharma
Surgical equipment manufacturers

can tack on HUGE profit margins

To really grapple with mental health, if I may presume, we need people with souls like Yours and the two people I had lunch with and me

to staff a housing for mental health , call it an asylum (ironice word choice, eh?)

And sit there and have us listen about 80& of the time, and talk, and coax, and cajole and explore, and coach and mentor, empathically, but with accountability and support. It's a tough needle to thread, You could do it I could do it. My two lunchmates from today could do it. In a SAFE place, where you can speak and emote openly, without fear of retribution

But nobody's gonna get rich
\
And that's why it will not happen

Because the other word for "God" is compassion.

and it has vanished
Well, asylum does mean to protect or shelter.

Apparently Sapirman went into the restroom with a duffel bag and didn’t come out for like an hour……makes you wonder if Dicken was just sitting out there waiting for him to exit expecting something was up. If he wasn’t waiting then those are some impressive reflexes.
IIRC, it was stated his weapons had been disassembled when he carried them in. Meaning the bag probably wasn't that big. Maybe that's part of the reason he was in there so long, he was reassembling them? Who knows though. Here he is right before he came out of the restroom. Someone sent this to me along with another of him after the GS took care of him. Not appropriate to post. I haven't tried to verify authenticity.

Think about what you just posted.
Gun control extremists do everything they can to manipulate statistics and drive fear. They claim tons of mass shootings and school shootings every year, but when you dig, you find they are pretty shameless.

People who want to drive opinion against liberty, would drive fear by exploiting the alarm system.

Getting shot at a Fourth of July doesn't sound like liberty.

It does not. We should ban shooting at each other.

Hey, let’s push bail reform laws that put violent people on the streets, elect prosecutors who are weak on crime, and defund police—> then guilt people for thinking having the means to self defense is necessary. Disarming people is not respecting liberty. Pretending that placing restrictions on people is a pro-freedom move is no less ridiculous than the other word play Democrats are doing to mask their agenda.

This is so sad. Officer was recently out of the military and hadn't been on the job very long.

Killer should have not been out of prison

Boards was sentenced to a 25-year prison term in 2006 for shooting at Indianapolis police officers.

He was released by the Indiana Department of Correction in August 2019.

According to a response to an appeal filed on behalf of Boards, Boards pointed a .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun at two Indianapolis police officers who had attempted to pull him over for not using a turn signal on Nov. 30, 2006.

The court documents show Boards fired seven times, and three bullets hit one of the officer’s IMPD squad cars.

Another example of a criminal allowed to leave jail early only to cause death or destruction, sickening.

Sad indeed. I’m sick of it. Somebody please keep criminals where they are supposed to be.

Those folks who clown when I say the lady is scared of little downtown Indy, fuck off. Shits real and true. Happens everyday.

Hits home as you know…’one of my classmates and good friends fell victim. RIP

Imagine how much the news would be talking about this if this was a white person.
It would be a gun-control story everywhere. The media shifts away when it doesn’t support their narrative and if it’s bad for the left, the story is “Republicans pounce”

The reality hasn’t changed. We have an under-incarceration problem. We have zero consequences.

I’m sure this will make Illinois safer.

Yeah I mean everyone is really talking about the mass shooting at Uvalde again....
Locally we had a city counsel lady post on her social media that with everything going on with Memphis we cannot and should not forget about the Buffalo shooter.

Bail reform is catastrophic for society. Anyone that argues otherwise is uninformed or wishing for the results everyone is seeing. NOBODY is fearful of being arrested. Absolutely no fear of any repercussions has lead to terrible results (maybe that is the desired outcome?). This doesn’t even mention the discovery rules which are designed to put unrealistic and unreasonable burdens on prosecutors to meet deadlines/etc. Getting a conviction against even a half-conscious public defender is almost impossible if they actually try. Take the Rushdie attack (I was there), depositions from dozens upon dozens of witnesses, bodycam footage from all officers on scene (whether they were even really involved), every single email, text, photo, recording from dispatch WHEN THE CRIME IS LITERALLY ON CAMERA AND HAD DOZENS OF WILLING EYE WITNESSES is silly. I get the need for reform of bad prosecution/etc, but that isn’t the goal IMO. The goal is making enforcement so onerous and difficult that most just throw up their hands…. This is progress I’m told

This is America today. I'll keep my right to self-defense, thanks. The same party that wants bail reform for these assholes is telling me to disarm for safety. Hard pass.
Dude in the last video who sucker punched somebody and got lit up is the FAFO poster child. Stupid decision cost him his life.

How many failed gun-control laws do you see being violated right here? Gun control doesn't work. Society has bigger problems.
