Just got back from the March for Life. Very powerful stuff. Fuck the NRA and fuck all you clowns with gun fetishes. Grow up and find a different hobby. And if you're gonna tell me you need a gun to protect yourself from the government, you're a moron. They would mow you down in seconds if they wanted to.

These kids suuuuuck.

You have reached a new low. Attacking the children of Stoneman Douglas High School for practicing their 1st Amendment rights in the aftermath of a mass shooting of their friends, classmates, and teachers shows us all we need to know about your lack of character.

Being a victim doesn't give you the right to be a dipshit.

If a 9/11 survivor said we should ban Islam and deport all Muslims, I'm sure you'd be critical of that just as I would. Victim status does not confer expertise nor authority.

Is mental health solely an American issue? Last I checked, it wasn't. Yet here we are, with an ridiculously disproportionate amount of mass shootings in this country. Explain that.

Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to have your place of employment stormed and shot up. Then, you could show us all how to behave like a rational gentleman.

Pretty much the worst. The Kasky and Hogg in particular.

You and Wizard continue to show a lack of character. These students have made you look in the mirror, and you don't like what you see. Whose fault is that?

David Hogge, Emma Gonzalez and their peers are on the right side of this issue. You better get ready for more gun regulation. It's on its way.

You are an expert at being a dipshit. It's too bad you attack the victims to let us know just how much of a dipshit you really are.

First, that's just factually untrue.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...-obama-correct-mass-killings-dont-happen-oth/

Second, even if it were true, so what? People kill each other everywhere. Is it really any better that they're killing each other with things other than guns?
Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to have your place of employment stormed and shot up. Then, you could show us all how to behave like a rational gentleman.
I don't expect the kids to be rational. I expect the adults to not treat the irrational kids like philosopher kings.

Stop being so cryptic, and tell us how you really feel. Throwing a tantrum on an anonymous internet message board can be therapeutic.

Is Barack Obama correct that mass killings don't happen in other countries? | PolitiFact

Thank you for providing a link literally confirming what I said. You seriously just made me laugh out loud.

"PunditFact rated Mostly True the claim that "Americans are 20 times as likely to die from gun violence as citizens of other civilized countries.""

"Still, the U.S. doesn’t rank No. 1. At 0.15 mass shooting fatalities per 100,000 people, the U.S. had a lower rate than Norway (1.3 per 100,000), Finland (0.34 per 100,000) and Switzerland (1.7 per 100,000)." Wow, #4! Nothing to see here!

For all you people who cannot fathom the US being ranked something other than #1 at something, there is still hope! "Looking at Obama's claim by incident, the United States has a higher rate of incidents than Finland, Norway and Switzerland."

And yes, I would much rather people have to kill people with knives, or cars, or anything else. Force the killers to get creative, it's too damn easy right now. Cruz killed 17 kids in six minutes. Nobody is going to kill that efficiently with a knife. Will they try? Of course. Using that as a reason to not address the problem is very sad.

I don’t care what your thoughts are on the debate. These kids are organized and there is a lot of support for what they are talking about. This is a movement.

Wiz... stop conflating victimhood with expertise with a personal experience. They saw their friends shot and killed. They have every right to discuss their experience and seek legal changes. As to your ridiculous straw man about Muslims in 9/11.... many victims and families of victims fought for changes as a result to the attack. But it was politicians who were activle trying to attack Muslim religion as a cause. Further it’s still going on. I mean what has DJT been trying to get passed since Day 1? A Muslim ban. I honestly don’t know how you come to these conclusions sometimes. Maybe I am misunderstanding....

Of course they have that right. But that doesn't mean CNN should be treating them like policy experts. Fox News is doing the same thing with that Kyle Kashuv kid and it's evil. They're using kids as human shields to push agendas under the assumption that we're not allowed to criticise them because they went through suffering. It's gross. If these kids want to dive into the national political discussion then they're going to be treated like national political actors. Yes, that includes people on message boards saying we're sick of seeing their faces.

No one is treating them as philosopher Kong’s. They are LISTENING and giving them the opportunity to speak as I think everyone should. There is nothing bad or wrong about what they are doing. Its crazy how butt hurt people are about kids speaking out to the best of their abilities. Some of these kids have very cogent points and they are really connecting with a lot of people ( kids and adults).

What do you actually want to see done? Instead of just venting on the NRA... I’d be curious to hear your step by step solutions that would apparently solve all of this...

I think there is a disgusting gun culture in this country. As much as I would love to say ban all guns, there are clearly a lot of things that make that unrealistic. I would offer to buy back guns across the country, and I think a lot of people would be willing to sell their guns, considering the anti-gun feelings in this country are rising. The less guns the better. Obviously better background checks could be a start.

However, I am not a policy buff. I'm not old enough to drink. I simply don't want to be shot. The whole point of the marches today is to show Congress the sheer amount of support for something to be done. They are the ones who should be coming up with the ideas. We need to vote these fools who are taking money from the NRA out of office. That is our job.

Preferably with the guns-a-blazing, angry AF tone from earlier. That shit was awesome.

Oh give me a break Cack... it’s not like there aren’t students on that campus who strongly disagree with the narrative these kids are pushing... but I’m sure it’s THOSE kids who are the tools, right? This isn’t some organic, genuine attempt at honest dialogue, this is a handpicking of select students to shove a long standing agenda that’s being sold as the exact opposite ... that’s what people have issue with.

I completely disagree. There are millions of people in the streets right now and none of them are handpicked by the media. They are there because they believe the same thing the kids are saying. Its really not that hard. People are sick of this shit and they are organizing and making it known. Give ME a break. And speaking of honest dialogue, gun rights supporters are the least honest person to discuss gun regulations with. They have zero ability to relent at all. Lol.

You don’t think these kids were hand picked to push an agenda???? You think they are the organic voice of their entire campus and the majority of the nation??? Is that what you’re saying?
