What do you mean by this?

In '46 we were 6.5 games ahead of them in all time winning %? Why did you decide to bring up such a random year?

Mea culpa! Old Timer's Disease. Actually it wasn't random, instead of today's year I entered my birth date.

On this date in 1946 my parents had their first son. So far aside from being the most prolific poster on IE he hasn't amounted to squat. Also on this date in 1946, ND was a solid second a bunch of games behind Yale. ND took the lead over the next few years during Leahy's Post War Unbeaten Streak.

Michigan was in 4th between ... Princeton and Harvard. Minnesota, Alabama, Army, Texas, and Penn rounded out the Top 10. Vanderbilt was 12th.

Would have been nice to increase our lead again today, but at least Michigan didn't win either...and they really stunk up the joint today.

I saw Q wasn't wearing #1 after halftime.

That tradition probably needs to die right away, because it hasn't brought any luck or heart to this team.

really? i guess i didnt notice. Im not a huge fan of it to be quite honest. I thought at first it was to remember Bryant but the commentators didnt say anything that i heard. It confuses the hell out of me to be honest.

As long as Harbaugh coaches Michigan and Kelly coaches ND they will keep moving farther and farther ahead of us.

Anyone who disagrees with this has lost their mind. But I don't expect them both to be at their respective schools for that long. I also think ND's schedule has a lot to do with this. Michigan has 3 automatic wins per year. We have 1-2 max.

I mean, we could be Texas, they were atop the list just a year or two ago as well....

Funny when you see that - Michigan has played 40-60 more games than OSU/ND/Bama.

Just thought this subject needed to be resurrected with recent Michigan woes and ND success. Here's to hoping OSU will have some down years...eventually.
