Didn't Kalis play well at the AA game?

Yeah... I guess... just don't think he's as good as he's rated. He's a big strong fellow and he plays hard and he's definitely a top 10 linemen. But #4 tackl eand #22 overall? Come on... where 247 has him as a 96 rating rating, #62 in the country, #4 OG seems much more accurate to where he projects. Very good to elite player, just sure as hell not a 5 if Lynch couldn't get it.

The fact that he ranks significantly higher than Keith Marshall, Devin Fuller, etc. in their overall rankings is just crazy... and I personally like Josh Garnett much more than Kalis as a comparable style player. Zach Banner at #16 overall also is just pure crazy to me. Rivals ranks on NFL upside; so there is some rationale for the rankings they give out... but I just think their entire philosophy on evaluation is a bit flawed from top to bottom.

I don't think this has been posted yet but Michigan just picked up Dennis Norfleet, a four star all purpose back on 247 and Rivals. I don't know anything about him but supposedly he just committed after a late offer.

Interesting offer considering the system Hoke wants (Pro Style). Kid is very quick but lacks top end speed like Russell for us. At 5'7"170 idk how he would be used in a pro style offense. Maybe change of pace back? The kid would have been better off in a spread offense IMO.

This kid was not on any Michigan sites radar until he committed. Just saying it could happen with ND tommorow.

Michigan announced on Monday that it had suspended safety Josh Furman from the team due to some legal troubles Furman is having. Furman is scheduled to appear in front of a judge on April 23 after facing counts of domestic violence, assault, and breaking and entering/illegal entry.

“Mr. Furman got up and they thought he was going to try to find the man so the two females jumped on him,” Mason told the Detroit Free Press . “The only person injured was Mr. Furman, who had a dreadlock pulled out of his head.

Here at Irish Envy we cover it all, USC, scUM (thats you) and current events (kinda). We are not like the Michigan boards that just focus on Michigan, Hoke, and sales at Wal-Mart.

Go to a Michigan board and you'll see Irish and OSU threads. Go to a USC board and you'll find Irish and UCLA threads. Go to a Mizzou board and you'll find KU threads. Go to a Texas board and you'll find Oklahoma threads. Go to a Purdue board and you'll find....well, nevermind.

The point is, this board is like every other board out there. If we're obsessive compulsive, we're no different than the rest of the college football world (yourself included, for being here and posting here in the first place)...

There are "Michigan" threads on the board because we are rivals. We hate Michigan. You guys got off to a fast start in recruiting, and the fickle masses on this board wanted to vent. Therefore, a Michigan thread was born.

Personally, I could give two shits what Michigan boards are saying about ND. Therefore, I do not visit, read, and/or posts on UM boards. You, on the other hand, are making comments about ND fan's obsession with Michigan recruiting. You, a Michigan fan, are on an ND message board, posting in threads, and calling the fans "obsessive."

Hmmm, I rather thought my first posts here were sort of like the unveiling of a "Mona Lisa" I thought there would be more reverence, but then I see ya'll probably just want to break my collar bone or something. According to Beno I thought I'd win at least 2 Heisman’s for just showing up, or maybe according to Holt’z a mythical national championship in trolling. But alas I see in reading your replies that it isn't to be. So please bear with me and surely, surely, surely, if the Michigan fan base can tolerate 2 years of DAMEFANs glorious predictions and some of the most masterful trash talking ever seen on Youtube then I hope you can bear with me. I'm not near the talent he is nor do I aspire to his heights. I promise I'll behave, but you have to be able to take a good natured tounge in cheek jab every now and then. (see above) Treat me nice and I'll give you some good FB talk when I have the time! I've been reading this board for several months and frankly I find the Michigan sites boring with regards to conversation because what fun is it to agree with someone all the time. It's boring conversation but you guys can light it up. Hatred is a motivating force. Respect can be too.

We'll see what happens. Time will tell and I'll come back and take a dose if Alabama does. It's a crazy game anything can happen (BTW Brain Kelly needs to watch for Karma too).

I have a feeling and nothing more that Brady Hoke has something going again at MI and most recruits want to play for him. We'll see. I wasn't sure what to make of him and then I read an article originally written in Jan, of 11 by Jason Whitlock months before Hoke took the job Hoke, not Harbaugh, is perfect for Michigan - College Football News | FOX Sports on MSN
Then after watching what he's done with the program in the first year Jason Whiltocks article looks somewhat prophetic now. Hate all you want but to take a collection RR spread offense players, install a new system and turn around a defense from worse to much better is a real accomplishment. I’d say they worked real hard to get that lucky.

lol, I didnt say that, but I agree with it. I am sorry, but if you actually watched the games, Notre Dame has been the better team the last couple years, but Michigan is the luckier team. With a superior team and playing at home, I think Notre Dame will win by at least 10 points. Now, whether you consider that an embarrassing loss or not, I dont know...

The better team doesn't always win. 3 years in a row is a concern. Luck can only carry you so far but at some point you have to start questioning your own family.
