As someone who hasn't watched a non-nd sporting match (bball, wbball, football) in over 5 years of any kind.

I must have been called by the Lord to abstain in preparation of UM winning. I literally couldn't care less.

Is that going to dull your sense of excitement when they do win though - relative to those of us who have nurtured hatred?

With Trente Jones declaring, Michigan’s top 6 offensive linemen are now departing.

No JJ
No Corum
Roman Wilson and Cornelius Johnson gone
AJ Barner at TE gone

Colston Loveland is their only returning starter on offense + Donovan Edwards

Defense will still be very good with Stewart and Moore coming back. Paige the safety is still set to declare, but is expected to come back it seems. But yea this offense is gonna take a major step back. I wonder if they will go after a starter at QB in the portal, or if they will roll with Orji at QB even though no one knows if he can throw.

They still lost a ton on defense though. I’m skeptical it will be improved. All new LBs, 2 new DBs, 2 new DL. Combine all this with a tough schedule.

Yea their depth won’t be as elite as it was this year. Derrick Moore, graham, grant, and Stewart will be a good 4 for DL. Both LB will be replaced by the Nebraska transfer they got last year, and then a transfer from Maryland they got recently. Secondary will need to replace Wallace and Sanderstill who was fantastic. But Will Johnson, Sabb, and possibly Moore and Paige back would give them a good base for their secondary. Another massive question is if minter returns. If he leaves or follows Jim to the NFL, then they won’t be nearly as strong.

… and subpar recruiting the last few years. Their composite rankings from the last 3 years were 15, 20, and 12.

The weird thing is, why do these Mich rb's making foolish decisions? First Corum last year, then Edwards this year decides to return. Just silly, especially with 2 long td runs in the natty.

Go get paid the minute you can as an rb.

Yep- it’s common to see teams tweet interviews now. I think part of the reason they do is to show they meet all the requirements like the Rooney rule. Heck 99% of interviews are leaked anyway at NFL level because dudes under contract have to be granted permission from their current team.

LMAO. Yeah, good luck with that. If Michigan does that, they are more stupid than what I thought was possible.
