it's harbaugh's way to accept commits early in the process and then let them go later in the process when he feels they aren't still worthy of a place in the class. he did this at stanford and some years had up to 7 decommits in a single class

Yup, no one paid attention while he was at Stanford but he was pretty much the king of "oversigning" without actually doing so. He'd fill up the class as quickly as possible and then closer to NSD push people out that he didn't want. Right now, it's not in any of these recruits best interest to make a scene while they try to find a new home, but at some point in the next couple years this is going to blow up in his face a little.

Maybe Rashan Gary's mom should have a conversation with Victor Viramontes' mom...

I was gonna say - if I committed to Harbaugh and he said hey kid I don't think we need you anymore please decommit or don't play then I would call him out.

If a coach is going to mess with my life's future then i'll do what I can to mess with his.

Butch Jones is doing the same at Tennessee. They had two "decommits" this weekend which pretty much everyone believes was Jones revoking the scholarship offers of two committed players because they believe they have someone better ready to fill those spots. The sad part is that many of the Vol fans seem to be lauding Jones for being such an "upstanding" man by cutting them now rather then waiting until closer to NSD. What a twisted world we live in when you count that as "upstanding".

Michigan is not going to hang with the Gators. I know the Gator offense is putrid but Florida's defense will be the difference, I expect at least a defensive TD and possible a special team TD for the Gators.

After playing Bama, the Gators are going to find some offensive success.

Florida: 37
Michigan: -5

Somehow, Michigan finds a way to lose points and actually ends in the red.

Good effort.

Also: mgoblog: Sparty, No!

Now count the Rose Bowls and Big Ten championships MSU has since 2008... then count all of Michigan's ZERO OF ANYTHING.

If he did, every Irish fan would be excited and happy, until the first game when we start running the conservative running game with the occasional pass to break up the monotony offense.

If Dantonio won an NC this year, MAYBE he would consider "retiring" on a high note and going to ND. Otherwise, he's committed to MSU for life. His family and Izzo's family are close friends, he loves the athletic director, the fans don't really put a ton of pressure on him (everything above 8 wins is just gravy, but boy do they appreciate it), he lives in a flippin mansion 5 minutes from campus, he makes more than he can spend, he's got total control over the program, etc. What more could a guy want?

^Both of those families also give a lot of money back to the school. So I'm not sure they could be bought.

but the people would rejoice as Saint Mark would bring a bounty of fullbacks to the promised lands

Yah well if we had a coach averaging 10 or 11 wins a year for the last 5 years I'd be pretty happy about that.
