If Harbaugh finds an NFL team willing to give him the autonomy and control he's interested in (Pete Carroll type deal), he's done. As long as he is at Michigan this is going to continue year after year. It's out there and it will be used against the program while recruiting.

Are NFL teams choosing not to hire Harbaugh or is he choosing not to leave Michigan? I genuinely do not understand either, but here we are with Jim still with UM.

If I'm Irsay, I'm throwing a bag at Jim and a load of picks/players to Chicago so they can go get their guy. Colts are a disaster and Harbaugh is too good of a coach, plus has a history/connection to the organization. I don't get it. And if it's Jim not wanting to go there, fine. But why not another NFL team? Why choose to stay in CFB where it's a mess and you have to recruit year-around not only high school kids but your own roster, plus transfers? It would be a no-brainer for me.

That didn't work well in Philly with Chip, I am not sure billionaire team owners are willing to give the reigns over to anyone but a designated person to handle and manage rosters. Especially not to to a kook like Harbaugh.

So what exactly is he accused of doing? I'm too lazy to read into this
The allegations include four Level II infractions that involve impermissible contact with recruits during the COVID-19 dead period, an analyst performing coaching duties in practice and other low-level violations. Harbaugh also faces a more serious Level I charge from the NCAA for not cooperating with investigators.

Harbaugh refused to acknowledge that he purposefully misled NCAA investigators, so it's basically a standoff right now.

The rumors were that he was asking for a crazy high contract and player personnel control. Teams don’t want to give up that much control and $20 million dollars per year.

IIRC when he met with the Vikings the word was he arrived thinking he was there to accept a job offer and found out he was going to be just one of a number of interviews.

BTW.....F@ck Michigan!

If Harbaugh is going to be suspended, it makes sense for him to jump to the NFL like the Poodle did.

Hopefully that causes Michigan recruiting to sink to an even worse level.

Harbaugh is more than likely a big reason for their recruiting

Corum announces that he’s returning next year
Wow, that's a bad decision even with there injury in mind. Good back, with two years of really good tape. I hope their collective compensates him well for taking a year off an already short nfl career.
