I wonder how many botched circumcisions have contributed to this, as well.
I should ask my old firm to redact names and such on the records of one we worked on. It was horrifying what happened to this child.

None of the partners could even figure out what $$$ to ask for. I had to lock my office door going through the medical reports.

I’m okay with prohibiting the vaping and trans care until 18. TikTok gets trickier with freedom of speech and Chinese influence.

There is really only one outcome here.

North Carolina is in the FA portion of FAFO when it comes to elections.

Vaping is prohibited until 21 right now as far as I'm aware.

One of the more interesting coups I can really recall during my adulthood was the change in age to buy nicotine products from 18 to 21. I was already in my early/mid 20's when it happened, but I don't recall there being any "national debate" about it.

For what it's worth, it's probably for the best in light of flavored nicotine products like zyns, rogues, vapes. I switched from chewing tobacco basically the first time I tried a Rogue (like Zyn). It's basically a mint that gives a nicotine fix.

Keeping that away from high school kids is probably a good thing. Big thing that seemed to keep kids away from tobacco products was harsh flavors and smoke. Or disgusting juice you have to spit. These "new" nicotine products don't have those downsides.

Kid just died at my son's college over break. Heart attack in the gym on campus - we went straight into the conversation of all the caffeine and nicotine in heavy use. Everyone Zyns and piles on the pre-workout and energy drinks are everywhere. Shit is dangerous and addictive and moderation isn't exactly a default setting on 18-22 year old males.

Same day another friend of his lost a leg in a motorcycle accident. Pretty sobering stuff.

Personally, I would favor banning vaping and smoking all together.

They are nasty tasting and it's crazy how big the energy drink market has become. Currently $20 billion and expected to continue to grow. I know a guy in his late 30's that drinks 4-5 a day. He's playing with fire.

Family sues Panera Bread after college student who drank Charged Lemonade dies

Panera has a warning by these drinks in our local spot so I looked this up. Apparently there was a second death of a 46 year old.

That Panera lemonade is like 4 cups of coffee versus "only" two cups in most energy drinks. Not a good mix with a fresh onslaught of myocarditis inflicted on our populace.

I limit myself to one cup of coffee before noon - more than that and I get a headache if I skip a day. After noon and my sleep gets fubar. Only other caffeine I indulge is unsweet tea which can't be much after lunch and only sporadically.

Also IIRC they had it out in the area where you could get yourself refills. So someone not paying attention could drink 10 cups of coffee worth of caffeine in a sitting pretty easily.

The biggest fraud in the senate, Sheldon Whitehouse, the whites-only beach club owner of RI, keeps trying to create a scandal on the court and keeps losing.

I figured they would get a unanimous decision here.
Can you explain this to me like I'm a dumbass CPA who doesn't understand. I find myself kind of agreeing with Trump on this? Mainly because you see what China/Russia do to suppress sites is bad, but like China's government having direct access to the incredible data that Tiktok has would be bad too.

Boiled down, I think the court would say this isn't akin to Russia/China, as their actions seek to limit content. This law doesn't limit expression.

I don't think the court wants to step on Congress' toes with these sorts of things unless they have to. It's a very narrow decision.

You know it’s bad when there is almost an entire blanket ban on the state and federal level not allowing tik tok even on government issued phone. Facebook, cool. X, cool. Allowed but frowned upon maybe… Tic Tik, banned.

Maryland took its fight to compel kids under ten to read about drag queens and bondage to influence them while telling parents who object to get fucked. SCOTUS appears to be poised to recognize parental rights.

What about parental rights for making sure their trans kids have access to healthcare?

I'm all for getting that out of the classrooms and back in the lap of the parents where it belongs.

How this isn't the larger point at hand hurts my freaking head. What the actual fuck is any adult doing talking about this shit to kids that don't belong to them, let alone the public school system. Icing on the cake is the shitty reading and math scores. Get back to reading, writing and arithmetic you sick SOBs.

The school refused the opt out while they required kids to sit through weird and bizarre adult sexual materials to influence lgbtq behavior. I’m sure the private school market is booming there for those who can afford it. These people are sick and SCOTUS relief can’t come soon enough.

Oh no a book where there's gay people. There's nothing sexual at all in the books in question.

And if your going to claim religious exemption because a book has gay people in, are you going to do the same for books that have divorced parents? More than likely not, you're just using religion as an excuse to be a bigot
