I'm rooting for Bama.
I would like for them to punish Manziel so ferociously that he finally melts down during the game in an epic fashion. I'm talking penalites, temper tantrums, visible altercations with teammats. I want to whole JFF Meltdown Experience.
I'm amazed at the love for Alabama (18 to 8 in the poll as of this post). I realize it's more of a hate for Manziel, but do you guys not remember January 7, 2013???
Maybe I see this sort of thing differently, but I'd think most people would want the team that beat them to win. Would you rather have lost to a team that gets beaten, or have lost to a team that's killing everyone? Neither changes the outcome of your game, but at least you can say you got beaten by a great team instead of a so-so one.
Auburn fans always want everybody on their schedule to lose every game (they hate everybody, it seems). I'm always amazed by that. Do they think beating an 0-11 team (or even worse, losing to an 0-11 team) helps them or is impressive? As much as I hated losing to A&M last year, I wanted them to destroy everybody else on their schedule. It meant we'd at least lost to very good team.
I hope Bama breaks Johnny football in half.
