The red zone was still the same, but I saw more intermediate routes. The quick outs (mini bubble screen) wasn't called every third play. Went under center to run the ball and was really effective. Last year and this year, when we went under center we ran the ball much more effectively.

I thought the play calling was more improved, including in the redzone but poorly executed. IIRC it was the first drive where they ran a PA sprint out and Niklas was wide freaken open in the back of the endzone but TR overthrew him (which is unacceptable when Niklas wasnt 6'7" and wide open). There was another in the redzone where the ball was dropped by TJ, which usually never happens. I thought all in all the play calling was fine, execution was shakey.

They did the same thing BYU weekend. I saw both but was hoping for a new show.

Hell, they did that reenactment of the forward pass for either the Temple game or MSU too, can't remember which. C'mon, ND Band! Lets change it up a bit!

Thanks wish they could've or would've shown the locker room like they did after the sun bowl. Said goodbye to TJ, Tommy, and all these great seniors that helped make the last 4 years full of big wins.

All in all I think the ICON videos took a step back this year.

Maybe less access? If i remember correctly Diaco was not happy about them being in the locker room after the MSU game last year.

I can understand they maybe couldn't but it just would've been cool to see. With all the ups and downs this class has gone through big time Highs and lowest of lows I'm sure it would've been a great speech.
