He's an OL prospect that can legit play all the position on the OL, worst case he's a versatile depth piece.

His dad Jordan was a reserve lineman for Joe Moore in the early 90’s.

CB from Thomas. Already had one from Singer. Also a Fong Bomb.

Rather sure this is when, not if.

Ok ok...we know he is the DT guru...who here will become the Kicker guru, suggesting we convert a WR or RB into a kicker? lol
Don’t think for a minute you can limit 08’s ability to peg guys he thinks can play both lines. Hell he’s got DB’s pegged for WR (and vice versa) TE’s ready to play either line and it’s only a matter of time before he’s got Joey O’Brien lining up to make and extra point.

Jamie U compares him to former first round pick Pete Skoronski. That is very high praise, as I remember Skoronski being very good at Northwestern.

Halter is a tremendous athlete and is in his first year playing OT (played TE last year). Notre Dame’s greatest LT of all time had a very similar path. Hmmmm.

Dad played under Holtz/Moore and apparently had the nasty streak instilled in him from an early age. Paired with that type of athleticism, the makings for another great prospect are aligning.

Another Andy Heck?
As a TE-to-OT? Heck was awesome, but Joe Alt wasn't the first name to come to mind? Luke Petitgout out of Delware was a head-scratching take out of HS, but he turned out to be another TE-to-OT 1st rounder. I believe Mike Brennan went lacrose-to-TE-to-OT-to-NFL. Mike Gandy went from HS TE to ND OG to NFL OT.
