I’m all for a good Penn St mocking, but this is an absurd take. He’s listed at 260. People inflate weights and heights, but this would be an all-timer

He measured at 220 at a camp in the winter, and they’re claiming he’s gained 45 pounds since then (hence blowing up). Point is, gonna be lots of cope around their part about getting project guys like that over LVB “feeling the squeeze”

Just wait until he starts losing!

Not this year with their schedule, should be able to sleep walk to 8 wins. PSU fans have zero space to mock ND’s

I think Olu Olu was what sent Wagner into scramble mode. We always had a chance with LbB. But when Olu Olu wanted in, that was one less OL spot
Totally agree Olu started the train. He “took” Wagner’s spot….but the staff wouldn’t let him walk so fast where he will commit to Oregon tomorrow, if they didn’t get LvB to be a solid too.

Will be interesting if they host more than Simien for OVs as uncommitted prospects.

Last year:
C - Garvin
IOL - Patrick, Merrill
Swing - Nichols
OT - McKeogh, Thom

This year
IOL - Flanigan
Swing - LvB, Halter
OT - Olu

Simien, Starcevic, and Esposito?
Looking for IOL only? Wagner was OT only.
Or is it Simien only?

I think at this point it’s interior ol only. Assuming Olu and LvB are in, that’s three potential tackles. Simien is a take no matter what. Starcevic? Not sure. Esposito is someone we should pass on

If we are even in it to the end with Simien I’ll be convinced the NIL budget is actually limitless.

Note to the rest of the world: leaving ND out of the playoffs, and thus pissing off ND donors, was the wrong move.

Tackle depth chart of:

Black
Lambert
Augustine
Mckeogh
Thom
Olubobola
Von Brandt

That's no friggen joke... I didn't even mention the likes of Prescod or Strebig, who I simply don't think will be able to overcome the talent level of those guys. Nor did I mention Jagusah, Patrick or Halter, all of whom I know / think can play tackle, but will instead play inside because of the embarrassment of riches ND has on the flanks of theit offense.

2027

LT: Will Black (JR)
2. Grayson McKeogh (Soph)
3. Olu Olobubola (FR)

LG: Matty Augustine (JR)
2. Gregory Patrick (SOPH)
3. James Halter (SOPH)

C: Joe Otting (SR)
2. Cam Herron (JR)
3. Richie Flanigan (FR)

RG: Charles Jagusah (SR)
2. Sullivan Garvin (SOPH)
3. Tyler Merrill (SOPH)
4. Ben Nichols (SOPH)

RT: Guerby Lambert (SR)
2. Charlie Thom (JR)
3. Layton Von Brandt (FR)

The potential for that depth chart, or something similar, is insane. And that's with Knapp heading to the NFL Draft, assuming Ashton Craig doesn't get an extra year of eligibility due to injury, Sullivan Absher possibly transfers for opportunity elsewhere, as does Chris Terek, Owen Strebig, Devan Houstan, Styles Prescod and Peter Jones... Any / of whom could emerge and stay.

High hopes, and nice too-early-yet vibes for that list, so I'll be patient and see how good it really becomes.

The safety net for our expectations is that we have other guys as well who can play tackle if we must.
