Those dudes are on a whole other level athletically. Larson could certainly be a good/decent TE, but he is not Bowers/Jonnu. They are exceptions to the rule
Exactly. I'm a fan of Larsen but he's on the short side for a TE. Maybe he's a legit 6'3 now but even then it's only height it's all about length these days. That 250 lbs is new to him, can he move the same as before or is he slower? The point I was trying to make and that you pointed out that this a guys are the exception whereas Larsen is not tall or long, didn't have the size ie weight last season and is only has solid speed and athleticism.
However has has Elite skills with his hands and route running. There is a place for him to be very valuable for ND but he's always going to be the underrated guy that's going to come up clutch when given his shot. He will be the forgotten guy with the other weapons on the field and will take advantage of it.
I guess the best way I can describe the kind of player he is by describing what I think of his equivalent is in basketball. So to me Larsen is the SG/SF who can't create is own shot, so some games he doesn't have many points but then there games when he goes off for 28 or 33 points because the team is moving the extremely well and he get a ton of open looks that he didn't need to create and he took advantage of that with the skill set that he does have.
