Does anybody have a confirmation yes or no if that actually happened?
Tyler James put this up in Rivals forums at the end of April.

I got a heads up this morning from our Missouri site, Power Mizzou, on this:

Notre Dame WR commit Shaun Terry visited Missouri on Thursday of last week. I'm working to learn more on this, but this is what they wrote: "Word we're getting is that Missouri feels good about its chances to flip him from the Irish."

Well it certainly wasn’t Jerome Bettis’ son who was gonna get pushed out. And it probably isn’t gonna be Plaxico’s either.
Yep, better land 3 good ones because you just pushed out a player better than the 2 other commits

Quality of name over quality of player

247 and Rivals both have Burress ahead of Terry.

And Jamie at ISD had Burress as a 4-star (90) and Terry as a 3-star (88).

He lied to ND about the visit.
He pushed himself out.
Burress is really good.
ND will be landing 2 more better WRs.
Stop pooping your pants.
I’m ok with burress and see some potential… who we have committed is what it is… if we don’t land meadows the wr class will most likely be solid at best and that’s disappointing

I don’t say this often to message board posters…but just stop posting.
You have no clue.
ND doesn’t feel that way.
Freeman literally just did an interview explaining how they are processing players out more

This class can still be good to really good at wr, but meadows is the key

Film often doesn't lie, and I like Terry, but the Burress' film is better.

Burress is definitely the better player with more positional versatility. Recent camp, Burress showed out in a big way against some quality competition. He was seriously underrated.

Terry was too, but Burress is going to be able to play more positions and is more of a sure-thing, because he is an advanced route runner and is a physical player. Terry needed a lot of technical work and needed to add a lot of weight. Burress does as well, but he has the frame to do it more easily than Terry.

You’re new here by the looks of it. First off, welcome.

Secondly, many posters have gone down this road with PutUp in the past. “Just stop posting” isn’t going to work.

You may not like his opinions, but it doesn’t make them invalid. We are all only just sheep if we listen to what the reporters tell us when it comes to evaluations. They do know their stuff, but it’s scouting and this is a message board. There can be many different opinions and projections on recruits and commits.

If he annoys you, you don’t need to respond.

A good player, but ND will sign better all-around WRs.

They still want to take five. So I’m assuming they feel that they don’t want to turn away someone, whether it’s Hines, or Hall, or Robinson due to numbers. To make that decision, they likely had to push Terry out of the class
Makes sense push out the best WR commit? Only at ND🤦🤷

Is he the best, though?

He has a unique skill-set apart from the other commits. But he is strictly a slot-guy, and the long speed just isn’t there. I don’t see the foot quickness either that you do from Jordan Faison or his brother, Dylan.

Bettis, Jr. is just what he is. Maybe he’s a long-term development guy, but besides his height and his hands, nothing stands out.

Burress is a sleeper. Biggest thing on film is his lack of strength. He couldn’t break a lot of tackles when he had to take on a defender, physically. But he has a natural ability to catch the ball. His route running ability is great for an athlete of his age. Real good traits that a WR coach can work with. The strength always comes in time.

It’s plaxico burress son, and no one would offer him

That says a lot!

Completely indifferent about all of the WRs currently, or no longer in this class. They’ll all get a full ride somewhere - possibly Notre Dame, or maybe not! - and probably not contribute much on the field. World keeps spinning.

It’ll all work out for the young men and I’m sure they’ll be set up to go pro in something other than sports. Pro careers don’t last long for even the ones who are good enough, so isn’t that we should all want?

If he was the best WR commit (and he might have been), ND’s screwed at the position this cycle. Better off leaving an open scholarship for a portal guy next offseason.

Actually with Putup on this one...

I'd push back a bit on Canada's assertion they he's strictly a slot. He's probably around Faison's size and Denbrock has mentioned him getting reps at field. Slot sized kids can be utilized a lot easier since Denbrock utilizes so much motion.

Not to mention he's a plus talent as a return man. Seemed like AA potential as a PR.

Now go out and land three from Meadows, Robinson, Hines and Taylor and I'm good... but Terry's film was better that Buress, imo.
