This is me spot on. But I have repeated this ad nauseum. The one thing that is worse than the broken bitching drum about recruiting or some other woes, Is the bitching about the person bitching about the problem.
It’s like going to AA and telling people they have a problem with alcohol and I am just here for the free donuts… it’s like… come on!! We are all here for the same reason.

It's just a basic/lame shaming/quieting tactic deployed by the person(s) to try to get you to stop talking about something that--

1) Is true

2) The person doesn't like hearing about because it causes them to feel a bad/negative internal emotion

3) The person can't refute nor deny either outwardly to the other nor internally to themselves

Its pretty common feminine trait so you can't really get mad at the girls on here doing it (no shade/disrespect ladies)

Don't take it personally

Speaks more to the person deploying the tactic than you including the extent that they should have some type of expectation/entitlement that people should only do what they want and in the manner they want

They likely have latent control issues that even extent outside the realm of an internet message board context

Because everyone feels/acts exactly about real life as they do on some random football message board

If someone makes a "get perspective" post on a football message board you can only assume--

They're overly controlling of their loved ones, particularly romantic partners

Have difficulty with hearing opposing views, particularly in their home environment

Have an unrealistic and unhealthy sense of entitlement

It's really that deep

When Meadows picks LSU, can we all try our best to refrain from posting the same rhetoric as we did on Thursday.
we’re 0 for 2…. When meadows chooses lsu that will make us 0 for 3

I think we can agree(or I can) to eliminate same rhetoric as long as when we flip or land a wr ranked lower than any of these 3 we lost out on we do not get excited like this recruit is somehow the best ever

Honestly for me the one thing that is worse than the broken bitching drum about recruiting and the bitching about the person bitching about the problem, is the bitching of the bitching of the person who is bitching about the recruiting woes

Happy Derek Meadows Day everyone!

In all seriousness, it’s a big blow when he picks LSU because of what the rest of our class is. However, his lack of production gives me major pause and I think he has a pretty low floor.

I've been a season ticket holder since 2009 with my dad, I used to get pissed when ND lost, I used to get upset when a kid decommited or picked another school.

Now I look at it that it's a great time at ND with my dad, conversate with other fans, and enjoy the atmosphere.

With recruiting I think it is a now moment- we want you now, but the next year teams are still going after the best of the best, so that now kid from the year before could be forgotten about and hop in the portal. New era and kids have more control.

 for Meadows to pick ND, I still think ND is the school that needs him the most!

Got one in laporte now too. I have been about a dozen times and have yet to discern what all the fuss is about
The cinnamon doughnut absolutely melts in your mouth. But I have been to other rise and roll locations and they left a lot to be desired. I think that is the problem when you get too big too fast. There is something about the Amish Middleberry, Indiana touch.
