Not sure what LSU has to sell. Denbrock is why their offense was good last year it wasn’t Kelly

besides having possibly the top home atmosphere in sports, a program who’s last 3 coaches won national championships, a long history of sending WR to the league, a young highly rated QB on campus, and a whole lotta money in NIL. ya i can’t think of what LSU possibly has to sell here🤷🏻‍♂️

also think the fact they had a heisman QB with NFL WRs to throw to was a big part of why their offense was so good

Current coach hasn't won anything, current coach sucks as recruting. Denbrock was a big reason why their offense was sucessful

if coach O can win a natty at LSU, pretty much anyone can. and Kelly certainly doesn’t put much effort into recruiting but all of his classes at LSU have finished above ND:/

247 Article about the push back in the date. Below is a quote that the writer references as "recently", just not sure how recent it is.

"I'm looking at a lot of things with these schools," Meadows told 247Sports recently, "but I know they've got to have a great quarterback to throw the ball, they have to have a great education and great leaders. Overall I'm finding the best fit for me and my future."

LSU has a very strong track record of WRs regardless of coaching staff

Just like we usually have good OL and TE regardless of coach

Driskell said (before Meadows announced his push backed up announcement) that we shouldn’t believe what is being told.

“Meadows is going to pick another school”.
Doubling down on this take too. Interesting to see how it plays out.

ISD seems to indicate the opposite -- if he stuck with announcing this Saturday, he was going to pick LSU, but ND has taken back the momentum, which led to him pushing back his announcement.

that point i get...he was quoted somewhere saying though he really liked the sec

If he truly likes the sec then ND was never a serious opinion.

I have said this multiple time and I will continue to say it.

Notre Dame’s willingness to play the NIL game here is refreshing.

If they still can’t get it done, do they take those funds and “buy” another 2025 receiver?

As of now, I wouldn’t clear that Saturday of plans for that announcement if you are a ND fan.

Wiltfong and LSU mod did an update on LSU board.
Both still think it’s LSU.
People mention Driskell and Roberts both saying it’s not ND, not to get your hopes up.
That’s because both of them know what Wiltfong knows, & the movement was a strategic move. As the LSU update says, ND, and even Michigan, have upped their NIL offer, causing LSU to up there’s too.
Shocker.

Hopefully the extra nil is all incentive based and tied to actual production. Now that the qb position seems to be sorted for a few years, I'd hate to see nd overpay for potential when they can go portal shopping for proven production.

I honestly don’t care how much they spend because what they’re doing now clearly isn’t working

Getting out NIL’d by Louisiana State University alums would be pretty insane

I think our wrs will, but there's far from a guarantee our 3 portal WRs have big production this year. They aren't first few round nfl draft pick talent.

Are there any ex nfl players that have kids that aren't dominant in high school? They seem to like us

If you’re going off stats, I have bad news to tell you about Meadows. I’m pretty sure Clay High School (rip) had receivers put up better numbers last year.
