i think he'd make a better DT than DE if he can put the weight on, could use a little more speed in the middle of the DL.

From a developmental standpoint, if Iowa wanted him, I'm buying.

York isn't a suburban stalwart but they have a good program the last few years, so I think he'll get more offers before spring, which is fine.

York is 5-0 and plays a huge game this weekend against Downers Grove North (5-0). Coming off of this verbal, that game should be a great atmosphere and he'll have some eyes on him.
My brother lives in Elmhurst and is a fellow ND grad...ill ask him his thoughts

These kids jumping in the class are making me have to put in plenty of work to keep the commit table updated on the front page! I'll get to that tonight.
It’s a gift and a curse. I’m very excited for the couple upcoming Film Don’t Lie releases from Jamie U at ISD once they get past the weekend backlog

Agreed. Most of the kids have little public film since they haven't even finished their junior years. Excited to see what he gets his hands on and can say about the kids.

I've never heard Jamie say he doesn't like a recruit, but have his evals for DL recruits typically been accurate?
He doesn't come out and directly say he doesn't like a recruit but you can tell by his comps, adjectives used to describe them, and ratings who he thinks are legit players or not.

If he can get up to 270-280 and maintain that level of quickness, his ceiling is pretty damn high. Can see why they jumped on him.

I've been trying to think of an ND comp for him after watching his film and he reminds me a lot of Andrew Trumbetti, albeit Trumbetti was much higher rated and didn't necessarily live up to that.

Kennedy Urlacher had a not great Film Don’t Lie
He just like me fr with that Film Don't Lie.

He wasn't particularly fond of Daniel Anderson either, seeing "a player who has the traits to play at the Power 5 level." And when your comp is C'Bo Flemister, that doesn't sound like a player he expects to see the field in Notre Dame's RB room.

you can see from the clips from the weekend that hes very much in his "putting on bad weight phase" every Too slow to play DE/too small to play DT that ND signs has to go through
