Surely ND would not recruit a corner who isn't at least good at "finding the football" at high school level? Legit question rather than being smart arse.

Having followed crootin for 30 years, it's interesting to see the stats correlate between db's that had a bunch of pd's and interceptions in hs vs. those who don't.

They might be 6-1 and run a 4.4, but if they aren't finding the football in hs, that likely won't change in cfb.

Played really well at safety this season. If ND gets a loaded room at CB, he could be moved to safety at some point - whether there are better players ahead of him, or also just too many good players. Could also play nickel, but I like Taylor more in that role.

Do I have to point out the obvious?

At the same point of their HS careers, another Brophy prep CB was still a 3 Star with limited offers.
And he only made it to a 4 Star outside the top 300. And the spring after his Junior year he started getting big offers, though he was uncommitted at the time.
