Can one of the mods please update his offer list to include Tennessee, UCLA and hell even Northwestern to help cheer up some of the fuckin' "Debby Downers" that against every 3* recruit ND goes after!? Geeesh, let the coaches go after whoever they want/need in THEIR mind and ones THEY think appear to be a good fit for THEIR team!

Too early to be thinking about a '26 recruit for me.
Let this sink in: there is a slim chance he'll play for any of the defensive coaches currently on staff st ND.
He'll need to be re-recruited by that staff in 2025 if there aren't more appealing prospects on the board at that time, regardless of anything he signs in December.

This young man really got the big time treatment. I don't know what I'm missing but it seems odd considering he's not on campus for 2 years.

If he commits look forward to all the stories of using local scrap metal and kettle balls to stay D1 ready

Basically pointless for ND to be recruiting guys who take Mormon missions in this day and age, I mean do they ever workout for anyone besides Utah and BYU?

More excited about Luke Talich because at least we get to see what he has soon. In fact, Talich will either be on scholarship or out of the program before Andrews shows up on campus.

Always love the stories of how they get faster and look huge while on the missions

For what it’s worth, IB loves Davis Andrews. One of their favorite Safties.
Driskell said he isn’t going to get into why his ranking is so low, & Roberts chimed in, “because he is a white kid from Utah…”
LOL

And, that's all well and good if they can get him to change his mind. But, short of that.

I'm not sure there is another S, that has been ever offered in this class , that I wouldn't want over Andrews.

Even if that guy ends up sucking, they're likely out before Andrews even arrives. This is low risk, low reward, IMO.

If you look at it from ND’s standpoint, Andrews was one of their top Safety targets.
So if ND ends up getting him, that means they got, in their minds, two of their top Safety targets.
O’Leary got Mencke, then a decision from higher up lost him. So O’Leary technically got 3 of the top 4 Safety targets (if they get Andrews) on their board.

Yes, I'm aware that ND wants us to believe they got one of their top S targets.

He just so happens to be a guy that won't play football for 2 years. At some point, we draw our own conclusions and think for ourselves.

Talich is a smart low risk/high reward move due to the immediacy of the evaluation and possible exit from the burden.

This is a low risk/low reward move because the actual eval won't even be done until he's likely on campus for a full year. Which would put it at 2027. Who the hells knows what is going on in 2027.

If one of your top S's doesn't play football until 2026 then you have a problem with the board. It's as simple as that.

By the time this guy would play a down the dye is gonna be cast on Freeman being a long term coach or five and out. Equally likely he will be matriculating back into a coaching search and at that point is heading back to a school in Utah one way or the other.

You know Manti was supposed to go on a mission & never go to ND either, according to some.

Anybody know the programs fascination with recruiting guys who will take Mormon missions?? You would think they light the world on fire because it seems they go after a guy every couple of classes.
