I agree on Brown. Don’t get me wrong - Seems like a great dude. I will never forget that dropped interception on the final drive vs Ohio State. In 30 years I will remember watching that and the transition from joy to anger. You will never have an easier opportunity. I still cannot freaking believe he dropped that.
Yep, he had pick 6 on his mind vs win on his mind during they play

I’m completely fine with it but Loy called him a HUGE target at one point so wouldn’t that mean this a HUGE loss?

Or, are we just not going to talk about that one?
Always felt like a nonsense waste of time. Safety recruiting was a head scratcher this cycle. Maybe gonna end up with two good one but was a damn circuitous route to get there.

Throwing down a Carter Nelson smoke bomb to distract us.

He's a talent that the coaches really liked and he would've been a nice get but not really a loss as he is going on his 2 year mission. So as it's been said he's really a 2026 recruit but on top of that he going to need time to get back into football shape and wouldn't be surprised if he red-shirts his first season back.

That said his commitment to Utah or ND means nothing as isn't binding and could change his mind once his mission is complete.

So Loy was right and IB off on this one. Loy has himself a nice streak going right now on the accuracy of his Intel pieces. Hopefully that continues with Carter Nelson.
listened to Roberts most recent solo pod. He wouldn't reveal and TE and WR names but alluded to the fact we are working behind the scenes. Curious if it is just Nelson or more

How many scholarship WR's do you ideally need?

Did you watch the game Saturday? Haha. But to be honest, you got to consider who could transfer now in the portal era
Yes I agree going into next year here's how I see things going
6th Year-Chris Tyree
Seniors Colzie-1 Year left could see him leaving
Jayden Thomas Junior/Senior 2 Year's left
Tobias Merriweather- 2 Year's Left could see him leaving
Greathouse- 3 Year's left
Flores- 3 Year's Left
Braylon James-4 year's left
Smith- 4 Year's left
Faison-WO

Freshman- Cam Williams, Gilbert, Saladate
If two guys transfer that leaves us with 9-10 guys for next year Ideally you want 10-11 maybe even 12 I'd go get a grad transfer depending on who leaves.

And I will place the odds of one of the current freshman transferring as high. No names or things to report. But I am a ND fan and have seen how this plays out lol

It does seem after the 2024 class is signed, the WR room will be in pretty good shape and much better than it has been in a while. If there is an opportunity to take another high level player for the 2024 class that would be between Cam and Micah skill wise, that might be good. However as 2008 points out above, that may depend on who stays from the current roster. If all of them stay then the extra 24 WR wouldn’t really be feasible. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

My biggest disappointment is he could get carter ready to take over Henderson and possibly brown. Henderson is not good at
All, brown is very very assignment correct but can’t make a play. That isn’t just Ohio state.
I bet Brown has a pick 6 this weekend.
He can make plays (got a pick against someone a few weeks ago) but he is definitely a 3 star level talent.

Pick vs nc state… about 20 tackles and 3 picks missed since then

He’s so slow he will need some really good blocking to get a tuddy
