Nope. Could not disagree more.

Young looks every bit as fast as Keeley. His burst off the line is insane for his size. Top 100 player easily, if not top 50.
I hope you are right and I am wrong. I don't trust my opinions at all.

I'll just say, based on what I've seen, Young definitely matches Keeley's athleticism and burst off the line. They're both very quick and have insane pursuit speed while also being big. Keeley was 6'5 245, while Young is almost 6'6 250.

From what I've seen, what separates Keeley from Young is that he was more advanced at the position, which makes sense, because Keeley had more experience playing the position than Young did. Keeley also has more experience playing at that size, while Young hit a later growth spurt that got him up to near 6'6 and 250, when just over a year prior, he was about 6'4 210. Young is going to need time to learn how to win with his size and also learn how to win with pass rush techniques, things that Keeley was further ahead on at this point in time. But make no mistake, Young's speed off the line is crazy. He is an athletic freak of nature.

I know I know scary bump season, but no worries just watching him in the state title game. Dude is long, lean, and explosive. I will say there's a lot of room for physical growth. Going to need some weight room time.

I have very high hopes for him. I just hope he is patient. The official UND site lists him at just 196 pounds. See here: Football Roster

This one will be a testament to Loren Landow if he reaches the potential I believe he can.
Didn’t know he was that light. He has a nice frame so shouldn’t have any issue with putting weight on. I, too, have high hopes but was expecting to see him contribute early. Maybe not so.

100% on Landow.

Had an injury/surgery didn't he? Could explain the light weight. Matt Freeman pointed out how he was like 15 pounds heavier at the Rivals Challenge in the summer. Has the frame, but he is certainly underweight at the moment.

Coming in sub-200 at the Vyper spot guarantees a redshirt. Can he be 225 by end of spring? Maybe 240 by end of spring '25? The long journey begins but love the potential of he can handle adding the mass.

Do I think he redshirts, yes? But does his weight guarantee it, no.

Sneed was rushing at times as a true frosh probably 210lbs, and last year a good bit at maybe 215.

There's probably no chance thomas plays on a down with a run threat, but 3rd and long isn't out of the question.

Penn State and others have been notorious for having long, thin, fast, quick players in on 3rd and long that you either have to double or they flat out get to the QB. Tall task for Thomas as a frosh no doubt, but I don't think his weight prevents him from playing at all yet, just not on any first or 2nd down for sure.

Hopefully he's Julian Okwara 2.0.

Also hope him, Young, Traore and Players X & Y are the equivalent to the incredible class of '16 = Okwara, Kareem, Hayes, Ogundeji & Jones.

He also was down weight last spring, though not as much. He probably loses weight during the season. Who knows what he’s actually playing at in the middle of the year

How hard is it to gain weight with a college meal plan? I mean he has to know he’s obliterating any chance he has at the league.
