This guy has been a really good weapon this year. Seems to have taken over 3rd down duties and is in a lot of situations requiring toughness.
Im really pleased by his play this season.
I think he is gonna have a huge impact next year regardless if Price comes back or not. I think they will try and get him the ball in space more in the passing game. Can you imagine Love and Williams on the field together in the back field?

I seem to remember saying that about Price and Love pretty recently.
if it isnt happening now, don't get your hopes up for next year.

I guess I don’t understand why anyone would want Williams to take snaps away from Price and Love . Certainly ok when the game is out of hand but until that point why would you want to use your third best guy?

They want him to stay. If he received no reps he might bolt. Unfortunately the transfer portal/NIL is the world we live in.

My easily wrong prediction: Aneyas Williams is going to be REALLY EYE-POPPING good for us immediately. I actually think that he's mostly there already. The only things that I believe can moderate that are a.) wanting to have Love and Price hog all the snaps; AND b.) that other (true) freshman, who looks like a possible future NFLer in just the few snaps we've seen. If we line up with Love, great. If we line up with Price, great. If we line up with Williams, great. AND the freshman, great. BE HAPPY folks. Everybody in the country would kill for any of our backs. Just keep the OLine coming and that alone will ensure 9-10 wins a season. Golden probably jumps that to a sure 10, and maybe 12. There were many years when I wondered we'd ever get multiple RBs and DBs that the NFL would sign. Not now.

Don't underestimate the value coaches place on a RB being able to block. I would assume the coaches think he does it better than Love or Price.

Kid should've had a receiving TD in the UVA game, if my eyes saw correctly. I believe Riley missed him and he was open enough (I have no doubt Aneyas would've gotten in for the score...the kid is really tough).

He seems to be the third down back as of now primarily but is getting carries in mop up time and that’s probably for multiple reasons. He is good at or is the better RB to handle protection for the QB on 3rs down and has a skill set suitable to picking up yards on schedule when needed.

Love is a fantastic blocker. Not sure about Price. Williams is a tough kid I’m sure he’s a good blocker but when he’s in he usually gets the ball. Love and Price are way more dangerous I’d rather see them get it.

I think he will be next in line after Love leaves, I really like what Price has done this year, but I could see Williams passing up Price next season.
I love Williams as a blocker and pass catcher but Price seems to be a more dangerous runner. Happy to have them both, and in what little we saw of Young this year he looked like an absolute monster. Might be the best of all three.

The future looks bright for ND at RB, all the guys you mention above brings something different to the position. With the success that Love has had, hopefully future big name recruits take notice.

I hope Williams plays a lot. ..... I just have a feeling.

And a couple of carries is too little, but Young ... whew.

ND is going to have three sets of RBs+OLines. I think we should invent the "best two out of three games wins all triple header" schedule concept. Even if we lost a first game the opponent wouldn't have anyone left to oppose us in the next two. Come to think of it, we'll probably have three pretty good QB options also. (too bad about our DT numbers though.)

I just don’t think he’s gonna get drafted maybe 6-7 round not saying he won’t be a good back but just he hasn’t shown enough.
As much u want your opinion heard, doesn’t mean anyone wants to hear your opinion.

Aneyas Williams really is Kyren Williams 2.0 and that's awesome IMO. The RB room next season could/should be even more ridiculous if everyone stays because not only do they have a prospect that I really like in Nolan James Jr but they also have the vastly underappreciated Gi'Bran Payne returning. From what I told in the spring before his injury was that he had stepped up his game and was looking great but his gains got overlooked do to the gains of Love and that it would've been him as the three headed monster at RB even with 2 stud freshmen coming in.

Price is absolutely the more dangerous runner, but he's also feast or famine. He's either got 7 carries for -3 yards like the A&M game, and then the 8th run is for like 50 yards. For that reason, and because I think Williams is the complete back, I think Williams does take over for Love once Love is gone as @irishandy mentioned. Williams just does a good job finding the hole and being patient, then getting upfield like Love does. He's been good in pass pro too. Those are characteristics you want in your lead back.

It’s likely that if Price returns next season, he and Love will be gone after ‘25. Price has NFL ability and doesn’t need a 5th season of CFB to show it.

Yeah we are loaded at RB.IN today's college football that usually means someone's leaving.

“I think he's a perfect third down back. I wouldn't be shocked if he ends up being the third down back next year.”

Nailed that one better than any other superlative
Good read.
Wouldn’t mind seeing the same source assessments of 23 and 25 class.
Also the LBs in that class (not named KVA) have a tough road to get in.
