Is he as big as Tosh? Some images I saw of Tosh this year made one think if he had the feet (or whatever he was lacking) he would be an unstoppable force. That’s all I ask of Gerb.

Starter for the up and coming season?
Starter for the up and coming season?
I think he starts at LT, Jagusah Right Guard, Bill LG, Wagner RT, Knapp Center. Craig I don’t think will be 100% by start of season. Only thing that worries me we aren’t as deep now with guys leaving if 1-2 guys get injured Will Black is probally starting which isn’t horrible

tim and the guys on an irish illustrated podcast friday i believe answered a question from chat about OL starters next season and none of them had him as a starter but all agreed that he would probably get on the field at some point due to his talent

That’s actually not true. Prister and omalley thought he would start at left tackle. The others said they didn’t think he would start right away but would by some point during the season

Lambert starting is probably the best-case scenario, as it enables us to put the five most talented OLs on the field at once. But he’ll have to win the job. Hopefully he does.

The Google machine says 3-6 month recovery. You’d think an elite athlete with world class medical care would be on the shorter side of that. But missing summer workouts isn’t going to do him any favors for competing in the fall.

I'd imagine he'll be allowed to condition and weight train after some recovery and they'll slowly reincorporate certain lifts. It'll be a setback and it's probably not going to be him being fully conditioned by the time camp comes around, but it certainly could be worse. But I'd imagine this locks in Knapp at LT, which seemed to be the case regardless.

You can’t really speed up the healing process very much. His biggest advantage is his youth.

I've had 6 surgeries for shoulder labral issues. Recovery will depend on the grade of tear and if the bicep tendon. If the bicep tendon isn't involved recovery shouldn't be terrible overall

A very large human. Would not want to go nose to nose with him for 60 minutes

The transformation from his pic in the first post…

Also… am I crazy to think he could handle being bigger? Yeah probably crazy.
